Thank You


Hello! I actually made a daisy card without using yellow and black!! I like how it turned out too. The double scallop edge at the bottom wasn't planed but I messed up on the sentiment the first time and had to find a way to fix it. Sometimes mistakes can be good things, I might do it on purpose next time! Thanks for stopping by.

Autumn Blessings


I'm back with a second card for today! I think this is now the third card that I have titled Autumn Blessings this month. How do you come up with titles for your cards?? I sometimes use the stamp name or maybe go with the sentiment but it seems like I'm repeating myself alot lately!! I masked the pumpkins in front of my mailbox and used distress inks over the whole image. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Cat-o'-nine-tails


Hello! I got some new Sweet 'N' Sassy Stamps in the mail this week and couldn't wait to play with them! I used the Serene Silhouettes set for my card. As soon as I saw the Cat-o'-nine-tails image I knew that I wanted to use flower soft with it! I think this will make a great masculine card, which I always seem to struggle with! Autumn Blessings


Hello! Today I have a Fall card to share with you. This is the card I posted yesterday on the Sweet 'N' Sassy Digi Blog. I used the Autumn Lovin' Cocoa set, isn't he just the cutest little thing?? I used the Just for Fun Friday color challenge #20. We were to use the colors Orange, Brown & Yellow which just said Fall to me, I Love making Fall cards! SEASON'S GREETINGS



Hello!! I've noticed alot of Christmas in July challenges going on and thought I'd give it a go. It'll be here before we know it, the older I get the faster time seems to fly!! I dug into my small stash of Pink Piroutte that I had been hoarding. I'm so glad that SU brought that color back!! I embossed my poinsettia with gold embossing powder and cut it out. It is colored with copic markers and raised up with pop dots. The white panel has been sprayed with Shimmerz. I Love how this turned out! Thanks for stopping by, I Love reading your comments!!

Country Apple


Hello! Loved Mercy's sketch this week so I had to give it a try, even added the corner flourish! This card has a real country feel, perfect since I live in Adams County ~ Apple Country USA. Apple season will be here before we know it. If you've never been to the National Apple Harvest festival you should check it out. It runs the first 2 weekends in Oct. Lots of good food, arts & crafts, music, car show ect. plenty of stuff for everyone. Thats what this card reminded me of so I thought I'd share! The list of challenges this card is for is below. Autumn Blessings


Hello! I know it's a bit early for fall cards but it will be here before we know it! The Just Us Girls Challenge was a sketch this week. The sponser of this weeks challenge is Justrite stamps and if you use Justrite stamps you get entered in a bonus drawing as well! Since I don't have any circle shaped Justrite stamps I used the center of one of the Autumn Blessings oval stamps and made my own! I really enjoy making Fall cards! Hello! Hope you are keeping cool where you are, it has been a VERY Hot & Humid week here. So thankful for central air!! Today's card is very simple and elegant. I'm really liking the new Quickutz embossing folder that I picked up. The flower was stamped twice and the center cut out and poped up. The butterfly was embossed and cut out also. I think a set of these cards with different sentiments would make a nice gift. Thanks for stopping by and stay cool!
