Field of Dreams

Here is my card for the Stampers Dream Dreamy Challenge. It was a color challenge and we were to use texture and bling. Since I made a masculine card I used some bangle bling that I found clearanced in the jewelry section at M's last year. I really like it on masculine cards! I used a sketch from over on the Stampin' Out Alzheimer's site. I really like this color combo and will use it again! I used a combo of prisma's and copics on this image. I just can't get hedgies or mice to look right with copics.

Feel Better

I've been doing the challenge's this week over at the Stampin' Out Alzheimer's site. For a $5 donation that goes to the Alzheimer's Association you can participate in challenges and there will be prizes too. Their goal was to raise $5000 and I see that they have met and went over that!! This is the card I made for the Mojo sketch challenge (also week 88) This was a fun sketch to do. I used some Basic Gray paper that I found at M's it matches the rose red and/or purely pomegrante perfectly! I will be sad when my stash of purely pomegrante is gone. I love that color! My turtle panel is raised with foam tape and I added Taylor's twinkles to the flower centers. Image is colored with Prisma colors and gamsel.

Baja Butterflies

Today I have a set of double challenge cards for you. First I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch, it's also for the Timeless Tuesday Challenge which this week was hosted by Silke! We were to make a square card. My cards are 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 so that they will still fit in the A2 envelopes. I LOVE how these turned out! Thanks to my friend Denise for letting me play with her Cuddlebug and Butterfly die this past weekend! I've held off buying a Cuddlebug and using my old sizzix machine for everything but I think I'm about to cave because I need that die(and the topnote one ) but they won't fit in my sizzix. I like both cards but I think the one on the left is my favorite. I used the mini flourishes from my Siberian Iris set on my sentiment panel. I used my swiss dots folder on the large butterflies.

Supply List
Stamps ~ Inkadinkado Expressions, Flourishes Siberian Iris
Paper ~ PTI Dark Chocolate, SU Baja Breeze, SU Natural White, DCVW Spring mat pack

Butterflies and Ballons

Another double challenge card! First I used today's CC over on SCS. The colors were Purely Pomegranate, Brilliant Blue and Only Orange, this was a hard combo for me! I also used a brand new sketch challenge called Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge, it was a fun one to use. I couldn't get the image to fit well in my ovals so I used my deckle rectangles instead, I also had to leave off the Big Flower/Embellishment cause I couldn't get it to work. I used my Elzybell Teddy heart ballon, just LOVE their Teddy bear line of stamps! They have a new release coming out this week and the sneak peaks are adorable! You can see them on the Elzybell Blog. I got a quickie glue pen this past weekend and I LOVE it! Thats what I used to put the glitter on the ballon and butterflies , so easy!
