Hello I'm back with yet another Valentine card! I found this sheet of paper at Hobby Lobby and just had to use it right away. This card looked much better in person. The weather has been making it hard to get out for good pictures. Sure has been "snowy" the past week or two! Guessing we've been spoiled by all the milder winters we've had the past few years. Dug out and oldie my MS heart border punch! I like it but it will sadly only work on very thin card stock or paper. Guessing that's probably why you can no longer get them? That and everything is now dies which do take up much less room I guess?! Anyway thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!! Challenges are listed below.

Hello!! Today I have another Valentine card to share with you! This one I'll be giving to my hubby! This Penny Black kitty reminds me of our 2 newest babies. I colored the image with my Copic markers, fussy cut it and popped it up. I used a mixture of die cut and stamped hearts to make/build my collage. Added a banner sentiment and some rhinestones to finish it off. You'll be seeing more of this kitty/image as I used it for all my other Valentine's this year too! LOVE Penny Black!! I added a picture of my sleeping angels but don't let that fool you they aren't always this quiet/calm!  That's it for now thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Hello!! Today I have a Valentine card I made for my youngest son. This Impression Obsession image reminds me so much of his puppy Quiche! My son is currently in his 2nd year of Veterinary school. His dream since like the 2nd grade. So proud of him! I just LOVE the colors on this card. Need to use it more often. That's it for today short and sweet! Hope to get another one or two blog posts scheduled for the week. Wish me luck as I have been dealing with a kitten on my lap/keyboard this whole blog post! Mom sits they must be on my lap too! Happy "Heart" Day!

Hello! Back with another "CUTE" Valentine card using the same adorable kitty from the other day. I was inspired by the "ruffled" hearts on the background paper to add a paper doily! Then I added a pretty stitched circle to the center and topped it of with my fussy cut out image. Finished it off with some pretty tin/foil type heart stickers. Love how it turned out. Happy Anniversary

Hello! Today's card uses a Penny Black stamp called Warm and Fuzzy! I Love this stamp for Anniversary/Love type cards. I colored it with my Copics and fussy cut it out. I used the sketch below but flipped it to work better with my image. The embossed panel in the back uses a SU folder and I don't remember what it's called? I've been using it a lot this week. Hello! Today I have a Valentine to share with you. I recently came across this SU die used for $10 and just had to grab it up! The heart is cut out of a pearlescent white lightweight cardstock. It really shimmers although you can't really tell in my photo. I cut out extra flowers to give it more dimension and added pearls to them. The "love" die cut is from a Peachy Cheap online deal. I was going to add my ribbon/bow across the top of the card but than I thought if I but it over the heart it kinda looked like a box of Valentine candy?! Bundle of Hearts

I used a Crafty Sentiments Designs digital stamp called Bundle of Hearts. Hello! Time for another new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. This weeks sketch is very similar to last weeks sketch but I tried to give it a different feel/look?! The black lacey looking strip is actually from a roll of precut self adhesive decorative tape I guess is the best way to describe it?! Picked it up at one of the "box" craft stores awhile back. The heart and key are Spellbinders dies. Thought this would make for a classy wedding or even anniversary card. Happy Valentine's Day! It's Tuesday so that means it's time for another new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches! Perfect sketch for the day I think?! I went with a wedding card, no stamps were used this time around just some dies. I have had this heart die from Memory Box for ages an have never used it! I paired it with my Mr & Mrs die from Kaisercraft, Love this die an I think they went together well??! Added some silver pearls to go with my silver trimmed ribbon. Hello! This is probably the quickest and easiest card that I ever made??!! I just got this new die from Amazon an had to play with it. I had a couple of these embossed panels from a swap (wish I had the folder!) an thought it would go well with this die. I think this would make a cute wedding or anniversary card?? Or done in red a Valentine card? I added a few pearls to the embossed hearts an called it done. Supposed to be a nice day here today so off to run some errands while the sun is shining, doesn't seem to be out to much here of late! Come on Spring an longer daylight hrs! Hello! Isn't this just the cutest penguin?? He is from Whimsie Doodles an called Penguin Muffin Top! My oldest son's girlfriend Loves penguins so this will make the perfect card for him to give her! Now to come up with a cute Monkey card for son #2 to give his girlfriend! I kept this card pretty CAS an let that adorable penguin do all the work! Little Gem with Flowers

Hello! Today's adorable card uses a Pink Gem Designs stamp called Little Gem with Flowers. I think it must be retired now cause I couldn't find it on their website? I am Lovin this pack of paper it's so glittery/sparkly. I got it at Hobby Lobby, It's by Paper Studio an called Uptown Flair. The whole pad is Pinks, Greens, and Black. One of my other new favorite things are these metal nailheads. They are nice an flat compared to pearls or rhinestones. Plus great to use on masculine cards ect. Heart and Soul

Hello! My card today is for the Unity World card making day, embossing challenge and the HYCCT, Music Soothes the Soul challenge on SCS. Cards for the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. I used dry and heat embossing. I embossed my image in white, colored the flower in with my copics and then cut out the image and sponged around it while it was still in the die. I lightly ran my Spun Sugar ink pad over the dry embossed background to make it pop a little more. I think this would also make a nice wedding or anniversary card too??
