Cat Sympathy

 

Hello! Today I have a CAS cat sympathy card to share with you. I heat embossed one of the sentiments from the Our Daily Bread Designs Cat Sympathy set (although now I think that company must go by another name?!) and added a cat die cut from Cottage Cutz. Finished it off with some nail heads in the corners of the sentiment. Just looked to naked without. I struggle to do CAS! Less isn't more to me?! Ha ha ha Well thats it for now short and sweet! Hello I'm back with a quick post! I  just had to do this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch. It's a pretty quick and easy one. Great way to use up some of your double sided 6 x 6 papers. Liked it so much I've made 2 so far. Maybe I'll post the other one tomorrow?! Found the sentiment in my bin of already stamped images. Think it might be from a $1 wooden stamp from one of the box stores?? Cut it out with a stitched die and colored with my copics. Dry embossed a scrap of card stock and die cut it with a banner die. Hello! Today's card uses the Sketch Saturday #429 sketch. When I first saw it I was a bit stumped but then realized it'd be the perfect sketch to use up some pretty designer paper. It's also for the Mod Squad Challenge to use a sentiment as a focal point. I have more pretty paper to do this with! Thanks so much for stopping by an come back again!

Tenderhearted

 

 

Hello! Paper and Such is sponsering The Paper Variety challenge this week. The challenge is to make a card with a matching envelope. The prize is a $15 GC to the Paper and Such store. My card is a sneak peek of  a new Giggle Bunch kids set called Tenderhearted being released on April 9th at Paper and Such. For my envelope I took one of the cloud diecuts and used it as a mask and softly sponged around it. Then I took some stardust stickles and outlined the clouds and added some raindrops. Peaceful Swans

Hello! Today's card uses the newly released Peaceful Swans stamp set by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. It is also available in digi form. I also used the Serene Silhouettes set. My swan is cut out and popped up and then I softly sponged around it to help create my little scene. I went with a Sympathy sentiment for my card but I also think it would make a great masculine card too.

Silhouette Sympathy

Hello! When I saw the color challenge today over on SCS I thought it would be good for a sympathy card. I used my Sweet n Sassy Stamps, Serene Silhouette's set for my card. I stamped my image in Versafine Smokey Gray and softly sponged around it with some River Rock ink while it was still in the die. I used this weeks Sweet Stop sketch for my card.

There was a new release today over at Sweet n Sassy Stamps, make sure you stop by and check it out! That's all for now, just waiting to see what round 2 of this winter storm brings! The first half wasn't to bad but they say we are in for freezing rain tonight. I'd rather have a foot of snow then any ice at all!
