Hopes and Dreams Grad

Hello! Today I have a graduation card to share with you. That time of year will be here again before you know it. I love using this sentiment (from Creative Vision) for graduation cards. I also like to pair it with butterflies for a more feminine card. I found this beautiful water color feel/look paper at Hobby Lobby. Love it so much i used a whole 8 1/2x 11 sheet and made like 6 different cards. I may have also went back and got a few more sheets?! My one niece graduates this year and I want to have some extra cards on hand in case she wants some for her friends?! She's already hit me up for some Thank you cards for her teacher's. That's it for today thanks for stopping by and enjoy whats left of your weekend! It's been a rainy one here but guess that's better than snow? List of challenges is listed below.

Congratulations!

Hello! Today I have a CAS card to share with you. When I saw this sketch I immediately thought of a Graduation card and had the perfect thing for it! As with many of the things I've been using recently these rhinestone stickers also followed me home from that Hobby Lobby 75% clearance clean out along with the sentiment/stamp. If I had it to do over I would have placed the sentiment on the left hand side instead but still pretty happy with the results. Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to stop back tomorrow for the new Tuesday Morning Sketch! Challenges are listed below.

Congrats Grad!

Hello! I attempted another CAS Freshly Made Sketch today. CAS is so hard for me! I have a hard time with less is more. This one turned out ok I guess?? My picture is kinda crappy though. No stamping again today. The hat and sentiment were some stickers I found on clearance at M's sometime ago. The stars are from a Little B stitched stars set I bought off Amazon (That Amazon Prime gets me in so much trouble!!). I finished it off with a few silver pearls. Thanks for stopping by, the challenges I'm entering are listed below.

On your Graduation

Hello! When I came across the JUGS sketch challenge this week i just knew I had to play. Love this sketch, perfect for my Graduation card. I used my new M-Bossabilities So Trendy folder that I picked up recently at my LSS. I like that it has 2 patterns for 1 folder but I just can't see how this will hold up long term without cracking/breaking??? Guess only time will tell! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Hello! It's time for another great sketch from  The Sweet Stop! This weeks sketch is a more Clean and Simple one which I struggle with! It was very hard for me to not emboss the white layer and cut out the sentiment and pop it up! It just looks so plain to me but I think it'll do and make a great Graduation card. Make sure you stop by and check out what the other Sugar Babies have created. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!!   Cathy McCauley, Chrissy D, Kim O'Connell, Monika Davis, Shannon White, Shelby Goolsby, Wendy Ramlakhan

Graduation

Hello! Today's card uses the color challenge on Stamp TV, we were to use Red, Kraft and Ivory. I used the Sweet Stop Sketch. I kept it kind of CAS. It's also for the Crazy 4 Challenges challenge to use Kraft for our card base. Love the look of cards made with Kraft CS just don't seem to use it often enough! I stamped two hats and cut one out and popped it up. I outlined it with my Sakura clear glitter pen and added a mini pearl to the center. I rolled a piece of lightweight ivory DP and tied it with some floss and sponged it for a little depth. I think it turned out pretty good! Thanks for stopping by!
