Daisy Jar

Hello! When I saw this sketch I knew I just had to play along! Sketch challenges are my favorite. A great way to get the MOJO going. I'm cutting it close to the wire on getting it posted in time though. Love the card making but the blogging part I still struggle with?! Anyone else like that??  The other day I spent some time stamping off some new stamps i have bought the past few months. This was one of them. Thought it would work out great with this sketch. The jar is embossed and hard to tell from the picture but I went with a light pink tint for the jar. Finished it off with the button. I did add the birthday banner thought it was a nice touch?! Thanks so much for stopping by hopefully I'll be back again soon. Have a great day!!

    Just Chillin'

Hello!! It's been rainy and dreary here in PA so I had to go with an indoor photo of my card today. I much prefer to take them outside in the natural light. For today's card I used the Sweet & Sassy Stamps sketch. I had the pleasure of meeting Korin Sutherland the owner of Sweet & Sassy Stamps the other week at my favorite stamp store L & L Rubber Stamps. My card is also for the ABC Challenge. This week it's the letter G and G is for Green. I may have went a little overboard with the green!! Sorta feels like a St. Patty's day card but I kinda like it! Last it's for the Incy Wincy Designs Challenge to use your favorite embellishment! I think I'd have to say my favorite embellishment to use is the half back pearls/rhinestones! I used some of the pearls in the centers of the snowflakes on the panel behind the snowman. I also used Crystal Snow on the card not sure how well that shows up in the photo. The snowman panel is raised up with foam tape. Thanks for stopping by!
