Birthday Wishes

Hello!! It's Tuesday so time for another fun sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches! We are still revisiting our favorites from 2016. This week it was Patti's turn. Our sponsor this week is A Day for Daisies an I choose to use Fairy Kitty for my card. Isn't this just the cutest kitten ever??! Soon as I saw it I had to have it!! I have a all white fluff ball just like this one. She is so fluffy that I actually have to take her twice a year to get her groomed aka shaved! She looks like a poodle or lion when she is done. Has a furry mane, tail and feet only! She loves it, becomes almost unbearable to be around afterwards. She just wants you to rub an scratch all over her an she feels soooo soft. A Deer Birthday!

Hello!! As soon as I saw that cupcake inspiration picture this morning I knew what I wanted to use! A few weeks ago I bought the Peachy Cheap deal of the day which was a bunch of Christmas type dies an this deer head was one of them. I also knew that the Stella Says Sketch would be perfect for what I pictured in my mind having grown up in a family of hunters! Just about everyone has a mounted deer head or at least the plain antlers (which by the way also came with that die set!) hanging somewhere in their house. Anyway I am very pleased with how this turned out, not often something turns out just like you pictured it! I usually struggle with masculine cards but think this one is a winner?? I made several while I had the dies out anyway, mostly the same but one is a little different (Very CAS for me) an I may post it on another day! Mailed my Heart

Hello! My card uses the "Mailed my Heart" free digi at Whimsie Doodles. I think it made a really cute card! I like this sketch alot an will have to give it another go. Next time I'll try to pick an image that I don't have to move the sentiment panel over! Just didn't like how it looked over her legs. Thanks for stopping by an have a great weekend!

Bunny and Chick

Hello!! Today's card uses this most adorable Bunny and Chick from Whipper Snapper Stamps. I once again used the yummy plaid paper from Lawn Fawn. I intended this to be an Easter card but I think it would also make a cute Baby card too?? I colored up a couple of these images while I was at it so I'm pretty sure one of them will end up being made into a baby card! I found the flowers at AC Moore's for $1 a pk. These are from 2 different styles/packs, going to have to be sure to get back there an get some more before they are gone. Well that's all for now be sure to check back tomorrow! Daisy Bunch

Hello!! Been seeing cards printed/stamped on Kraft card stock and it's been awhile since I did it so thought I'd do it for something different! My daisies are colored with a white sharpie paint pen and the ribbon is done with stickles. My image is a freebie from Beccy's Place. My embossed panel is another swap type exchange from years ago. Hello! This is probably the quickest and easiest card that I ever made??!! I just got this new die from Amazon an had to play with it. I had a couple of these embossed panels from a swap (wish I had the folder!) an thought it would go well with this die. I think this would make a cute wedding or anniversary card?? Or done in red a Valentine card? I added a few pearls to the embossed hearts an called it done. Supposed to be a nice day here today so off to run some errands while the sun is shining, doesn't seem to be out to much here of late! Come on Spring an longer daylight hrs! Hello! This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches we are revisiting sketch #348. Another one I hadn't gotten to play with yet, I enjoyed it!!  I used more of that gorgeous plaid paper from Lawn Fawn (I definitely need to get a 2nd pad of that paper!!). Thought it went perfectly with that cute little frog! I know I mentioned it like a million times before but I just LOVE Penny Black stamps! But I'm still trying to decide.....what occasion card could this be used for??  Sorta looks like an Opps I frogot?? Like maybe a belated birthday? Any other suggestions? Hello! Isn't this just the cutest penguin?? He is from Whimsie Doodles an called Penguin Muffin Top! My oldest son's girlfriend Loves penguins so this will make the perfect card for him to give her! Hello! This week we are revisiting sketch #378 at Tuesday Morning Sketches. Struggled with this sketch last time and again this time not sure why? But I do think this time it turned out much better! We are sponsored this week by Bugaboo Stamps. I'm using the lovely Flower teapot image for my card. I had a lot of fun coloring this one! I added some glossy accents to the little ladybugs an to the polka dots of the teapot.

Cozy Winter Birthday

Hello!! Today I have a winter birthday card to share with you. I made these cute little mittens with my Spellbinder dies and multiple embossing folders. I think the snowflake is Spellbinders too but it could be MFT? I have a habit of die cutting up a bunch at a time with my scraps then I forget what is what! Paper is from my scrap bin, hoping I find another sheet of this in my stash somewhere cause I really liked it! Think it might have been Kaiser Kraft? I "heart" Snowman

Hello! Today's flashback sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches was chosen by Debbie. This is one I missed an had fun getting to use it! My snowman is from Alota Rubber Stamps but they are no longer in business. I had bought quite a few of their bare rubber images when they closed an finally got around to mounting them on some ezmount. The snowman is raised up with foam tape and I added some glossy accents to the heart and stickles to the snow & snowman. Love how this one turned out! New Arrival

Hello! Boy do I have a hard time getting good pictures this time of year, can't wait for the longer days an more sunshine! My colors match really well in real life.....in this picture? Not so much! I'm LOVIN these Lawn Fawn Plaid paper pads I bought. You may be seeing quite a bit of it in the weeks to come! ;-)  Not sure the name of this Penny Black stamp as I don't personally own this one......yet!! I colored it with a combo of my copics and my Prisma pencils. I just can't get the little hedgies fur to look good with anything but my pencils. That's it for now, thanks for stopping by! I used a Verve sentiment, heat embossed and than sponged with some distress ink. Added some flowers and pearls to finish it off. Hello! I'm back with a second post for today!  I had gotten this Memory Box Joy die from Simon Says Stamp back in November an hadn't had a chance to play with it yet. Boy do I LOVE this die!! I can see me using this one a lot. I went with a pretty quick and simple design this embossing folder made it so easy! I LOVE how this card turned out! Happy New Year! I seem to still be in the Christmas card making mood??!
