Happy Birthday

Hello! This is my second post for today! Melanie Muenchinger one of the designer/illustrator for Gina K has a challenge posted over on her blog, Hands, Head and Heart it's a "Take the Scraps challenge". We were to make a card using only scraps left out on our table! My table seems to never be cleaned off, I always have discarded things that didn't work laying around! I did have to cut a new card base because the kraft one that was on my table had been cut wrong, hope thats ok! I used the Curtain Call Color challenge also, we were to use Kraft, White, Pink & Black. Love this color combo! I used the sketch from the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. This is a awesome CAS sketch. Mother's Day Daisies

Hello! Thought I'd get a early start on some Mother's Day cards! This one uses Nina's sketch again, love this sketch! In case you missed it Nina is having a Blog Anniversary Challenge and Giveaways! You can find out more about it on her Blog Crafting in Croatia. It is also for the Inspiration Challenge on Stamp TV, Make mine Pink! It's for the Pink Elephant Challenge as well which is Pastels this week. I used the vase of daisies from my Gina K Purrr-fectly Delightful set. I added some flower soft to the centers of the daisies. Butterfly Birthday

Hello! Today's card is for Nina's Blog Anniversary Challenge and Giveaways! She has a wonderful CAS sketch for you to use. I really like this sketch and will be using it again! You can find more info on her blog, Crafting in Croatia. It's also for the Esty Inspired Challenge. We were to use the Esty shop Ponder and Stitch for our inspiration. I chose this piece for my inspiration. Since I used my Gina K Hope is Faith butterfly set on my card it also qualify's for the Flutter by Wednesday challenge. This week it's an open challenge as long as you use a butterfly, fairy or angel. I stamped my butterfly with versafine ink and then used clear embossing power. Colored it with my copics and cut it and popped it up with dimentionals. I didn't have the right shade of primas to match my card so I took a white one and colored it with a copic marker to match. Birthday Ducks!

Hello!! This week on the Critter Sketch Challenge we were to use the colors of Donald Duck for our card! So I decided to keep the duck theme going with these cute little ducks from Gina K. They are part of the Oh, Baby set by Rupa Shevde. I thought with the ducks colored this way it could be used for a little boy's 1st birthday??! Happy Spring!

I noticed quite a few challenges for Easter/Spring so I thought I'd make a card with this adorable little daffodil chick from Elzybells! I went with a CAS layout and used my bow easy to make a double bow and added a button to the center. I used some of Gina K's new Lemon Drop CS, Love this color! Hello! Today's card is using a PSX image that I kinda altered! It had a frame around it that said strawberry. I had colored the frame in an then didn't like it, so I cut it out and I like it much better now! So all in all I guess it was a good mistake! I used the Curtain Call color challenge, although I used a much lighter pink and the only yellow on my card is my flower center. I normally use red, black and white with my strawberry cards but I like the softness of the pink, makes the strawberries pop. Thanks for stopping by!

Hello! I noticed a couple of challenges for Celebrations and decided I wanted to make a Birthday card. The Paper Jewels challenge this month is an inspiration challenge and we were to use the Gotta Have Bling blog for our inspiration! Since I wanted to make a birthday card I choose these adorable cupcake beads for my inspiration! I used the cupcake from my Papertrey Baby Button Bits set. I also used my new Lovely Labels set by Nina Brackett for Gina K Designs. LOVE this set. It works great with the spellbinders nestabilities Labels 1, 4, 8, & 9. My card uses the Labels 1 set.
