Play Ball
Hello! It's the last flash back week at Tuesday Morning Sketches. Next week we will be back with all new sketches. It was Melissa's pick this week. I'll admit I struggled with this sketch both times I did it. I even bought a die for it this time! But I have to say that I LOVE how this turned out! When I was playing around with what I wanted to do all of a sudden I thought baseball cause that white panel sorta reminded me of a home plate??!! Anyway I had this baseball laying on my desk that I made ages ago and paried it with some stitched stars and a few star brads and called it a success! Think I will be remaking this one again? Maybe trying a different sport next time? I always struggle with "boy" cards and I think this makes a perfect card for that. Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has done with this sketch.

It surely does not look like you struggled. This is awesome. America's pastime never looked so good!
Fantastic card for this week's sketch, Janice! I am WOW'ed with this one because I love the embossing and the paper! The baseball & stars just complete this perfectly! Awesome job!!
Well, it's fabulous as always! I love the baseball theme - it's perfect and you're right, that top panel does remind me of homeplate.
You knocked it right out of the park on this week's sketch with this amazing card! I'm pinning it for future reference because I'd love to CASE it!! I love the colors, theme and your fabulous interpretation of the sketch! Well done!
Fabulous card Janice, I love the masculine theme.
That looks perfect as a baseball card Janice :)
Well Janice, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and I am so copying your card!! I think I will create a scrapbook page inspired by this also :) GREAT job!!
I love this card!! I love every element! It comes together for the perfect boy card!
Here's to the red white and blue, Janice. Great card that is so bright and crisp. Glad I got to see it.
