Kindness

Hello! Today I have some news to share with you before I get into this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch/Challenge. This will be my last post as Design Team member. I have decided after 18th months it's time to step down from the Tuesday Morning Sketches . I've had a great time and want to thank Melissa and all the girls for having me it was blast! I'll still be around playing in some challenges here and there I'm sure.

Ok onto the challenge. This week we are changing things up! Instead of a sketch we are having a Blank Canvas Challenge. I have posted a picture of the challenge below. You can find out all the little details over on the Tuesday Morning Sketches page.

To create my background.....I used 3 different TH Distress inks, an acrylic stamping block, water misting bottle on watercolor paper. Than I stamped my Inkadinkado  boat image and embossed it in white. Love how the white spots (around my sentiment) on my water coloring background kinda look like clouds. Added a gold base under my watercolor panel and some gold metal accents to finish it off. Really pleased with the end result! Thanks so much for stopping by and hope to see all again soon. Be sure to check out the rest od the teams creations.

Gorgeous background. Anything with water or beach is okay in my book.

This is a beautiful card, and I really like the way the background turned out. It really gives the appearance of an ocean with a wave tossed ship. Very nicely done!

So sad that your stepping down, Janice, but totally understand! I stepped down from the Merry Monday Challenge 2 years ago after a 5 year ride. I can honestly say I have enjoyed the free time since! Love your masculine card with the colors and that white embossed sailboat! You also used a terrific sentiment! TFS and I hope to still see you stamping! Hugs~

I'm so sorry you're stepping down from the DT, but at least you'll still be in blogland for a long time to come :) This is such a beautiful take on the challenge, and I too love how those white spots resemble clouds! Great card for your final DT project. I will miss working with you :(

I have to admit, I was sad to see you are stepping down from TMS. I know you will fill your time with lots of fun adventures, this summer. P.S., you should be receiving snail mail.

Oh yes, your card turned out great and I was thinking the same thing about the clouds. As you can tell I was a little sidetracked letting my emotions out :o) :o) :o)

Okay I have to admit that I didn't announce your departure because I was still hoping you'd change your mind about leaving. I will miss you soooo much and I hope to see you play along with us.

Your card is absolutely gorgeous! The ship is beautiful, this is a great guy card.

Your card is just lovely! The inky background really does look like waves! I hope that you enjoy your more free crafting time after stepping down from the design team.
