For my card today I used the Just Sayin' set thats available only at Paper and Such. I made my butterfly from a large prima flower. I got the idea from the Wild Orchid crafts website awhile back from a video they had posted, sorry I didn't save the link. They used a much smaller flower but this is the only 5 petal flower that I had that would work. I also think this card works out great for October being that it's Breast cancer awareness month.

Swirly Trees

Sweet Stop Sketch

Hello! It's Saturday so that means it's time for The Sweet Stop sketch challenge! This month we are doing a blast from the past and revisiting some of the previous sketches. This week we are doing Sketch #7. I once again made a A2 size version of the sketch. For my Sweet Mango layer I took a 6x6 piece of screen used a stipple brush and applied versamark ink to make the patterned background. Birthday Blue's

Hello! It's time for another fun challenge from Paper and Such! This time round we are having a recipe challenge. I went with the 1, 2,3 idea and did 1 lace, 2 DPs, and 3 buttons. I used the birds from the Song in my Heart set available in the Paper and Such store. Right now all the Paper and Such stamps are on sale so be sure to stop by and check them out. I decided to make my birds look like Blue Birds this time around. Love how they turned out! Come play along, can't wait to see what everyone comes up with! Newsprint Poppies

Hello! This is my second post for today, if you are here for The Sweet Stop sketch it's in the post below. I wanted to share a card I made with the "New" Poppy set from Paper and Such! I dusted of my prismacolor pencils for this one! It's been along while since I colored with them and it was fun! I stamped my image on some newsprint DP from SU and finished it off with some of their wided striped ribbon. I really like the way this one turned out! PENN STATE! Hello and Happy Saturday! It's time for another great sketch from The Sweet Stop. It's the 3rd week so that means it's sketch with a spin time. The spin this  week is Starstruck!
