Happy Tails

Hello! I seem to be on a masculine card roll here of late??! And I know there is another one for sure this week. I just LOVE this little guy! I wish there was a cat version of this stamp. My cat may or may not have a tie of his own?!?  My husband has this guy very spoiled and this cat will but up with anything if it means he gets treats in the end. He has quite the costume collection. Everyone gets a kick out picking things up for him.  I swear he acts more like a puppy then a cat most days. Anyhow back to my card! It is colored with copic markers and I added some glossy accents to his nose. The paper is from a Bo Bunny 6x6 pad called Happy Tails Collection. List of challenges I'm entering are listed below. Deer Dad

Hello!! Another Father's Day card for you today. I Love using this stamp cause I think it looks so nice with no coloring? Actually that's the only way I have ever used it! This sketch works out great for this image. Think I will make 1 or 2 more just like this but with  a birthday sentiment?! Good way to build up my stash! I went with a vintage look for my card, with some distressing and a monochromatic color scheme. I've decided it's time to look for a "Dad" die cut, I think that would have looked nice on this card. I masked off this Dad sentiment from a larger sentiment stamp. Ok that's it for now so glad you stopped by, I enjoy reading all your comments. Challenges are listed below.

Tool Time

Hello! Time for some Father's Day cards. Today's card uses a free digi from Beccy's Place called Building Tools. Perfect image for masculine cards. This card ended up looking kinda Patriotic but I still like how it turned out. I used some no name brand stitched star dies I bought off Amazon and also added some white star brads for some added texture/dimension. Finished it off with a diamond plate embossing folder on some silver paper. That's it for now but hope to have another one for you tomorrow, thanks for stopping by! Flowery Birthday

Hello!! Time for another new sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. When I first saw this sketch I thought wedding card but I ended up going in a totally different direction! I'm always in need of building up my birthday stash, I still may end up trying a wedding card later though. My card is pretty simple and showcases some very pretty paper. It's from a 6x6 pad and was a mark down of 1.99  at AC Moore's awhile back. Every Breath

Hello!! It's Tuesday so that means it's new sketch time at Tuesday Morning Sketches! This week it's a great sketch for those larger images. I used one of my ADORABLE Phyllis Harris stamps from Unity Stamps. This one is called Every Breath. I used a piece of vintage lace gifted to me by my friend Stacy and topped it with a piece of crocheted lace from my own stash. I kept wanting to add other embellishments but thought it best to do less this go round. Once again this card looks so much better in real life compared to my poor quality photo! Happy Birthday

Hello! It's Tuesday so that means it's time for another new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. Another one that I struggled with and I'm not sure I like what I came up with? I'll say that it's a very poor picture but our weather has been kinda crappy an this was the best I could do. It's a very pretty shade of grey with blush colored butterflies in real life. The flower die is by Darcie (Thanks to Carol I had to have this die!) and the Happy Birthday is off Amazon. The butterflies are a MS punch.
