Cat Sympathy

 

Hello! Today I have a CAS cat sympathy card to share with you. I heat embossed one of the sentiments from the Our Daily Bread Designs Cat Sympathy set (although now I think that company must go by another name?!) and added a cat die cut from Cottage Cutz. Finished it off with some nail heads in the corners of the sentiment. Just looked to naked without. I struggle to do CAS! Less isn't more to me?! Ha ha ha Well thats it for now short and sweet! Hello! Cutting this one to the wire. Ready for Spring? I sure am!! The weather lately sure makes it hard for my outdoor photos, had to sweep the snow of my rock wall first! When I saw the Tuesday Morning sketch this past week I knew I had to play along. My card uses a gorgeous 3D flower sticker. Have you been to the Dollar Tree recently? They sure have some NICE craft stuff. These stickers get me every time. You'll be seeing a lot more in the future I'm sure. Added a heat embossed sentiment from my bag of ready to use extras and a couple of mini white brads. Pretty quick and simple but oh so pretty i think?! Hello I'm back with yet another Valentine card! I found this sheet of paper at Hobby Lobby and just had to use it right away. This card looked much better in person. The weather has been making it hard to get out for good pictures. Sure has been "snowy" the past week or two! Guessing we've been spoiled by all the milder winters we've had the past few years. Dug out and oldie my MS heart border punch! I like it but it will sadly only work on very thin card stock or paper. Guessing that's probably why you can no longer get them? Hello!! Today I have another Valentine card to share with you! This one I'll be giving to my hubby! This Penny Black kitty reminds me of our 2 newest babies. I colored the image with my Copic markers, fussy cut it and popped it up. I used a mixture of die cut and stamped hearts to make/build my collage. Added a banner sentiment and some rhinestones to finish it off. You'll be seeing more of this kitty/image as I used it for all my other Valentine's this year too! LOVE Penny Black!! I added a picture of my sleeping angels but don't let that fool you they aren't always this quiet/calm!  That's it for now thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Hello!! Today I have a Valentine card I made for my youngest son. This Impression Obsession image reminds me so much of his puppy Quiche! My son is currently in his 2nd year of Veterinary school. His dream since like the 2nd grade. So proud of him! I just LOVE the colors on this card. Need to use it more often. That's it for today short and sweet! Hello! Once again I seem to have made a mostly "die cuts" card? I was going thru stuff laying on my desk and found this Daisy Mosaic die cut that I had cut out months ago! It's from Creative Expressions and it's a bit of a odd size. After I cut it out I wasn't sure what to do with it and just laid it aside and forgot about it but the current Freshly made sketch inspired me with how to use it! I LOVE how this turned out!! I foresee more cards in different colors and sentiments in my future! Maybe switch out the dragonflies for butterflies?! My dragonflies are from a punch.  I added some black nailheads to the flower centers. Anyone know where to buy these at? I used to get them at AC Moore's. Miss that store! Gonna miss using them when my stash is gone. They are so nice for mailing compared to brads and rhinestones ect. My sentiment is heat embossed. I don't remember of hand who it's by? It's a wooden stamp that i picked up at one of the box stores. It was cut out with a Stamps of Life stitched rectangle die. Thats it for now thanks for stopping by! Challenges are listed below.

Hello! Finally made some time to get back in the craft room! Been a little busy lately with my new fur babies!! We got 2 new kittens the day before Thanksgiving. Meet Butterball and Buttercup! I forgot how much fun kittens are, been like 11 years since we had babies in the house. I've been soaking up all the kitten snuggles I can get. I'm posting some of the pictures from when they were about 2 months or so old. Will post more recent ones soon. They are growing so fast! Aren't they adorable??!

Okay now to the real reason your here, my card! I borrowed this adorable Corgi set from a friend. It's from the Stamps of Life. It has the cutest sentiments to go along with it. I didn't use one of them on this card but you will see them in the future! I borrowed this set because I have a niece who LOVES Corgi's and I want to make her some special cards. She'll be 18 soon and she graduates this year too. I heat embossed my image and than colored it with my Copic markers. It's been ages since i colored with them. I'm going to have to get my refills out as some of my markers are getting a little dry. Seems I have been on a mainly die cut only card making mode lately? Felt good to color again although I felt a bit rusty! I fussy cut the image and added a few punched balloons with some pretty bakers twine to match. I think it turned out cute?  Always good to add some "boy" cards to the stash. That's it for now, thanks so much for stopping by! Hopefully I'll stay in the grove and keep making and posting cards! Hello! I was looking thru my stash for something to make some quick cards with and came across some tags I had made a few years ago and never used! This one ended up working perfectly for the Inlay Die Cut challenge I saw over on SCS. Love how this one turned out! The color of the rhinestones matches MUCH better than the photo shows. Hello! I have a quick and CAS card to share with you today. I so struggle with these. It looks so plain to me and I keep wanting to add more/something?! I did add some gold pearls as a dot to the "i" and the center of the large star at the top. It does look so much better than the picture shows though. Hello! Well It's that time of year again.....Holiday challenges!! I'm having a very slow start but still hope to get a few done! The weather has been unseasonably warm and sunny here and I just can't stay inside and miss out on it. I did make a short visit to the craft room to throw together this quick CAS card!
