Butterfly Bear

Hello! It's the last week of our birthday celebration month at Tuesday Morning Sketches. This weeks theme to go along with the sketch is stamping, so a super easy one! I used another Penny Black stamp, this one is called Butterfly Bear. The bear was done with my Prisma colored pencils, the butterflies were done with my copics then covered with Stickles. In place of ribbon I used a daisy chain flower punch and added some buttons. Used some scraps of paper to make little flag banners and called it done. Thanks for stopping by an be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with this week.

Hello

It's week 3 of the anniversary celebration month at Tuesday Morning Sketches! This week it's the sketch plus embellishments as our theme. That's an easy one! I used enamel dots for mine. I was going to also use washi tape as this would be a good sketch for that too but went with some paper scraps instead. The flower is a no name die set I bought off Amazon, used a Simon Says Stamp die cut for my sentiment. I'll admit this sketch had me at first but really like how it turned out!! Be sure to stop by and see what the rest of the DT has come up with! Challenges I'm entering are listed below.

Father Christmas

Hello! Our Anniversary Celebration continues this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches. This week the theme to go along with the sketch is Christmas in July. I'm not a big "Santa" person but awhile back I won some High Hopes stamps and this Father Christmas Block caught my eye. It was fun to color, I love the way the image is framed. I also picked up the kitty framed image, I'm sure you'll be seeing a card with that in the future. The prize this week fits the theme Christmas, a picture is posted below. Can't wait to see what you'll come up with this week! Be sure to stop by an see what the rest of the DT has done this week.

Ladybug Ladybug

Hello! It's Tuesday so that means its time for a new sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. This month we are celebrating our 8th Anniversary! We are having special themes each week to go along with our sketches and prizes to match! Hope you can come join in the fun. This week the theme is Die Cuts! I went all the way die cuts with my card, even the sentiment. I LOVE playing with my dies so this was a perfect theme for me. My lady bugs are from Elizabeth Craft Designs and the sentiment is Spellbinders. I think I ended up making like 4 cards with this quick and easy layout. Just changed up the color and sentiments. A quick one to build up the card stash for sure. Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. Be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with.

Lady Bug Fluffles

Hello! It's Tuesday so that means it's new sketch time at Tuesday Morning Sketches! This time round it's one of my own sketches. I used another of the ever so cute Fluffles stamps. This one is called Lady Bug Fluffles. I once again colored with my copics and then shaded around it with some TH distress ink.  I used my Stampin Up stitched clouds embossing folder for the background and used a piece of gingham paper from my scrap box. Added some rhinestones and wooden ladybugs and called it done. Love the summer feel this card has. That's it for now be sure to stop by the rest of the DT and see what they have created this week!

Thanks a Latte

Today I have another card to share with you for the Summer Coffee Lover's Blog hop.  I just love this cup image from the Stampin Up Perfect Blend set, which I sadly now seem to have misplaced. :-( I fear it may have fallen in the trash and got thrown out?! I'm glad I had stamped up a bunch of images when I first got the set to play with and paper piece. Will be sad when those are all used up. I paired it with the Tim Holtz coffee cup embossing folder. Embossed on Kraft cardstock and than ran my white ink pad over it. Used some scraps of paper, ribbon, and twine off my table to finish it off. The sentiment on the cup is from a different company and at the moment I can't think of the name? Picked it up at a stamp show. Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check back tomorrow for the new Tuesday Morning Sketch!

Party Pup

Hello! Well I've been on a "guy" card roll this past month it seems?? That's a good thing cause my stash was low and I always seem to struggle more with those?! It's so much easier to make "girly" stuff!! I had bought this 6x6 DVWV pad of paper online and didn't realize that it was a glossy cardstock kinda paper. At first I was really disappointed but after making this card I think it turned out great. Sometimes stepping out of the norm is a good thing I guess?? My pup is a digital image from Bugaboo Stamps, it's part of the Birthday Puppy set. Once again colored with Copics and I added Glossy Accent to his nose. Thanks for stopping by. List of challenges are listed below.

One cup at a Time

Hello! So I've been seeing these Coffee Lover Blog hops for awhile now usually over on my friend Stacy's blog when she plays along. She sent me the invite to the FB group awhile ago so I could follow along. Finally decided today's new Hop is the day to join in! Now I'm NOT a coffee drinker and actually can't even stand the smell of it! Don't hate me! But I am a BIG tea drinker, usually iced (ALL year long!) but in the winter or if I'm cold or feeling under the weather I drink it hot. But I make all kinds of cards coffee, tea and cocoa included! Today's card uses the Tim Holtz Sizzix  Bigz Tea Time die. I paired it with this pretty My Mind's Eye Doubled sided paper, thought it made the prettiest vintage looking teacups! I added a piece of paper doily and some roses to finish it off. The sentiment is MFT. Thanks for stopping by I hope to play along some more and try to get around to look at some of the other pretty cards joining in the hop. Have a great day!

Ribbit

Hello! Today I have another adorable card to share with you using the frog with glasses digital image from Sami Stamps. Isn't he just the cutest??! I colored him with my Copic markers. I added Glossy Accent to his glasses but it doesn't show well in my picture. It's hard to tell but the background paper says Happy Birthday. Love how this one turned out! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!!
