Birthday Iris

Hello! Well I didn't quite make it to 4 days posting in a row...started reading a book and got into it so much that I couldn't put it down!

For today's card I used one of my fav's from Flourishes, the Siberian Iris. It is so much fun to color! I heat embossed it and cut it out. The center of the flower is raised up on pop dots. I added a little banner for my sentiment. I think this could also be used as a sympathy card?? Thanks for stopping by!

Butterfly Kisses

Hello! Wow this makes 3 days in a row posting a card, wonder if I can go for 4??!! Today I have a card to share with you that uses no stamps!! The back ground I made is called Bargello Design, the tutorial I followed can be found here. It was one of the technique challenges over on SCS last month. It's a good way to use up those scrap strips of paper you might have laying around! My butterfly is made with the Stampin Up Butterfly Die. I added a big rhinestone flourish that I found clearanced at M's last month. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Spring is Here!

I've been seeing some challenges for spring and thought I'd play along! One of my favorite things about spring is the flowering trees, my favorite being the Weeping Cherry tree! A few weeks back I saw this card in the SCS gallery. I loved the layout and knew I wanted to case it using flowersoft for a Spring tree so here it is! What do you think?? Hello! Last Sat I spent a fun day shopping with my friend Julie. Found and feel in Love with the My Minds Eye Stella & Rose papers! I used one from the Hazel Collection on my card. The stamp is another find, it's from Art gone Wild. Can't wait to play some more with it! I can see them done up like Brown eyed Susan's or even a Cone Flower, went with more of a daisy look for this card. Well guess thats all for now, enjoy the rest of your weekend!

World's Greatest Dad

Hello! Loved this past weeks Eat, Sleep, Stamp sketch and had to be sure to play along! I decided to get a head start on some Father's day cards with this cute little Hedgie from Penny Black, not sure what the name of it is though?? I got the images thru a swap/wrak somewhere along the line. I like using the reverse side of the bubbles embossing folder for golf cards, i think the texture matches perfectly. Hello! Well let me try this again, seems that my picture posted earlier but my writeup disappeared??!! Hope that doesn't happen to often! I have a hard enough time writing these posts once let alone doing them a second time!

Today I have a CAS baby card to share with you. I used Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, Benjamin Bunny. With a little masking I was able to use him for a cute little baby card. I paper pieced his feet, ears & nose with DP. His head and feet are raised up with Pop dots. I think he turned out cute!

Think Spring!

Hello! It's time for another Sweet 'n Sassy customer blog hop! The theme this month is Think Spring. I know I am ready for Spring to get here!! You can find all the details here.

I used the Holding Flower Bethany stamp on my card. She is also available in digi form. I used this past weeks Sweet Stop sketch for my card with a few minor adjustments! ;0) I don't make very many square cards. I went with a Mother's Day sentiment for my card, it's from an upcoming SNSS set.
