Bertie Bunny

Hello! The other week I was invited to pick a image an be a Guest Designer for Digital Delights! Of course I said yes!! I choose the Adorable Bertie Bunny for my card, isn't she just the cutest??! I colored her with my copics, added some stickles to the flower, and some glossy accents to her nose. The pretty papers are from an older DCVW Spring 6x6 pad that I picked up at Jo Ann's I believe? So wish I would have gotten more than 1! Added lots of little extra embellishments on this card but I think it turned out cute! Thanks so much to Digital Delights for inviting me to join them today.

I deviated a bit this week but I love how it turned out.  Found this image when digging thru my already colored images box and decided to go with it. Spring Daisy

Hello! Well I made time for another card. Knew I had to use this sketch when I saw it, lots of layers just the way I like. My image is from Bugaboo but I can't remember the name and the store seems to be down at the moment due to moving. My ladybugs are flat backed an wooden. I found them at either Jo Ann's or Michael's in their spring crafting section a year or two ago I think? My memory isn't what it used to be! I bought some little bees in the same trip but have yet to use them. That's it for now be sure to check back tomorrow for the new Tuesday Morning Sketch.

Hello! Been slacking on blog posts here of late! A lot of the stuff I've been working on is for up coming DT stuff though, plus darn work has been cutting into my crafty time as well. But I had to make sure I got my card in for the progressive challenge this month over at From the Heart. I don't usually make St Patty's day cards and since it's past anyway I went another route with my card. Although I'm second guessing my choice?! Is it appropriate? Thoughts?? Ok that's all for now maybe I'll get cracking an have a card for tomorrow too?! If not I'll be back Tuesday for sure with the new Tuesday Morning Sketch! Spring has Sprung!

Hello! It's Tuesday so its time for another new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. My card today uses a couple of cute duck digi's I bought back in December from Doodle Pantry before they closed. I couldn't pass up their 75% off going out of business sale. Sure will miss their cute stuff though. Not sure I like my card?  I picked my paper based on the sketch photo.......but thinking that paper might have been better paired with a large sentiment image instead?! Oh well it is what it is. Balloon Bear

Hello! Today's card uses one of the adorable Gruffies stamps. I colored it with my prismacolor pencils and did the out of the box look with the balloon. I dug thru my embossing folders and found this forgotten gem, been ages since I used it! Perfect for my birthday card. Challenges I'm entering are listed below. Hello! This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches we have 2 different versions of the sketch for you to chose from! I admit at first I was REALLY stumped! But then I thought my Lili of the Valley James Peeping Bear stamp. This sketch is perfect for him! LOVE how this turned out. I colored him with my Copics and "popped" up his feet with some foam tape. I layered some gingham ribbons and finished it off with a bow and pretty rhinestones. My paper is PTI. Teapot Daffodils

Hello! Thinking Spring even though a big snow storm is possibly headed our way! My card uses a colored digi from Beccy's Place. I think it may be retired because I couldn't find in currently in the store. This is my 1st time using a pre colored image. I printed it out ages ago to use as a guide to color my own image but decided to cut this one out an just use it! Found this chevron paper that matched and it went from there. The embossed panel is the SU shell folder. Added some buttons with Baker's Twine an called it done. I think it's a very cheerful card. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Frog Pile Up

Hello! Been a few days since my last post. I'm trying to get ahead on my DT stuff in case we get this big snow storm next week! If we'd lose power (which living in the woods it happens frequently in bad storms) I wanted to have my cards made, photographed and blog posts written/scheduled. Now that I've planned ahead it will be a big dud i'm sure!

Today's card uses a digi from Scrap N' Dipity that I won the other week in some challenge! It's called Pile of Frogs. Thought it would make some cute kids cards maybe even a baby card too sometime??! Went with a boy card this time round but found some cute pink "froggy" paper in my stash so I'm sure there will be a girly version in the near future?!! My card uses this weeks Freshly Made Sketch but as usual I may have went a little heavy on all my layers!! Me and CAS just don't get along! Anyway I think it turned out cute. Hello and Happy Tuesday! This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches we are sponsored by DRS Designs. I have used Polka Dot Flower Trio and One Line Happy Thoughts Greeting on my card. I heat embossed my image and colored it with my copics. I added some stickles to the butterfly. Dusted off my corner punch, man its be ages since I used that! Added a few gems to finish it off. Love the colors on this one, kinda monochromatic??
