Stitched Snowflakes
Hello! Today I'm sharing the other crafty project that I've been playing with. Ultra Fine Glitter! When I went to the stamp show back in October the Elizabeth Craft Designs booth was demoing and doing make and takes with this awesome stuff. I was hooked! If you've never seen or used it I suggest you look up their videos using it on You Tube. My background above that looks like a piece of lace was created using the glitter, a piece of lace and a large piece of double sided tape attached to a piece of cardstock.
I wish you could see how shimmery and gorgeous this is in real life?! My pictures just don't do it justice. The colors I used on this piece are Fire Opal and Rich Red. I've played with other color combos and it's amazing how different just that 1 piece of lace can look?! I'm sure you'll be seeing more soon. I finished my card off with some Lawn Fawn Stitched Snowflakes topped with some bling. The sentiment was in a pack of holiday dies I bought off of Peachy Cheap deals. I'm very pleased with how this card turned out, so classy and elegant! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Frosty the Snowman
Hello! I had some time to play last night and today. I've had this snowman image in my colored and ready to use box for years! Have no clue who makes it? I used to have the stamp but can't find it at the moment to check? I decided to fussy cut him out and make a little scene/card for him with my stitched hill dies. I will say my coloring has much improved so don't look to closely at him. Searched through all my Christmas paper pads and found this string of lights paper that I thought went well. Added some snowflakes and bling and called it done. Thanks so much for stopping by and hope to be back again tomorrow! Challenges are listed below.

Alcohol Inks
Hello!! It's been awhile since I last posted! Didn't mean to be MIA that long. I've been being crafty though and one of the things I've been doing is playing with alcohol inks! It can be a bit messy but it's fun! Guess I could wear gloves but where's the adventure in that?! You never know what you might end up with and no 2 are exactly alike. I now have a small pile of alcohol inked backgrounds in many color combos to use. There is another new thing I've been playing around with too but we'll save that for another time.
It's one of my favorite times of the year, the month long Holiday cards challenge over at Beccy's Place! It's a great way to get those Christmas cards made so come play along. Day #1 challenge is to use the Letter A for your inspiration, I choose Alcohol Inks! I got to use one of those backgrounds I made! This one reminded me of a starry night sky. It's hard to get a good picture but it also has some silver metallic ink in the background. I paired it with some Silver mirror card. It was hard to get a good picture, you can even see the reflection of the pink shirt I was wearing. It looks so much better in person. I used multiple dies on this card and several were borrowed from a friend so don't know who they all are. Thanks so much for stopping by and if all goes well I hope to have lots more this month!

Fall Birthday
Hello! Today I have a Fall Birthday card to show you. Nothing says fall to me like Mums! I'm partial to the rust and/or burgundy colored ones. I know they have them out at Easter time too but it's just not the same, at least not to me. I prefer Daffodils and Tulips then! Anyway on to my card. It uses a stamp from the former Paper and Such company, the sentiment is from SU. I colored it with my Prismacolor pencils. After mounting my image to the scalloped oval I decided to emboss them together. Love the look/texture this gives. It's kinda hard to see in my picture but I added a rhinestone to the center of the mum. The sketch and challenges I used are listed below. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

It's Your Day
Hello! I've finally made a card using Forrest Guy from Unity. When I was looking thru my box of already colored images to see if I had anything to fit the Green and Brown color challenge I came across this guy! He's colored with Copics and cut out with a wonky stitched rectangle. I
took a few liberty's with the sketch?! I tilted the panel it just looked better that way to me and instead of a bow I added a button. I thought it looked more masculine that way?! Anyway I'm pleased with how it turned out. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day! Challenges are listed below.

Happy Birthday Slugger
Hello! Today I have CAS (for me anyway) card to share with you. When I came across this sketch I immediately thought baseball diamond so I dug through my box of already colored images and found this Penny Black cat. It's colored with a mix of Copics and Prismacolor pencils. I used a stitched die and added little metal embellishments in the corners to kinda make it look like bases. I added a star under the baseball to make it stand out a bit more and to tie in with the star embossing folder I used for the background. Finished it off with a Happy Birthday banner. I kept wanting to add more cause of all the white space but I walked away and left it be! That's it for today thanks so much for stopping by and I plan to be back tomorrow with another card! Challenges are listed below.

Happy Anniversary
Hello! Today's card uses a Penny Black stamp called Warm and Fuzzy! I Love this stamp for Anniversary/Love type cards. I colored it with my Copics and fussy cut it out. I used the sketch below but flipped it to work better with my image. The embossed panel in the back uses a SU folder and I don't remember what it's called? I've been using it a lot this week. Love how it looks. That's it for today thanks so much for stopping by. Challenges are listed below.

Cosmic Newton
Hello! The other week I'd asked a friend if she knew of a stamp/set with an "out of this world" and similar type sentiments. I have these neat "space" type stickers I picked up at the Dollar Tree that I wanted to use to make cards but didn't have any sentiments. That lead to her letting me borrow this adorable Cosmic Newton set and me making this card. There will be "space" sticker cards coming soon too! I've been on a bit of a crafting roll this past few weeks. The challenges I'm entering are listed below. Thanks for stopping by and if all goes to plan I'll be back again tomorrow!
