Narcissus Thanks

 Well I'm really cutting it close to getting a blog post in today! And blogger is really giving me fits so not sure that it will even happen/post? Had a great day shopping with my Sister-in-Law and found lots more crafty goodies. Tuesday Morning got me in BIG trouble and than Hobby Lobby has started their semi annual clearance sales and I was SUPER bad and went to TWO different stores!! I think I may need a 12 Step program for Craft Ahcoholics!! Supposed to be rainy and ugly here tomorrow so hoping to have a play in the craft room kinda day?

Today's card uses the BEAUTIFUL digi stamp set called Narcissus from Beccy's Place! I fussy cut it out and mounted it with foam tape to give it some dimension. I lightly colored the flower centers and stems with my Copic markers. Wrapped it with some jute twine and added a bow. Tucked in a little tag with my sentiment. I used my all time favorite doily lace border punch. I distressed the edges with some Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress ink. Finished it off with some rustic like bling. Love the vintage feel that this card has. That's it for today now to see if  blogger will let me post? Could just be my laptop acting up too I guess?! Thanks for stopping by!

Kitty Love

WoW! What a GORGEOUS day we had here in South Central PA today?! Think it got up to 65 today? In February! Needless to say I did not make it to the stamp room today. I spent some time outside soaking up some Vitamin D! Went for a long walk and than cleaned up in the yard under the bird feeders and stuff like that.

I made this card over the weekend and man do I ever struggle with CAS!! I kept wanting to add more layers! LOL The papers are from a Valentine's K&Company pad that I picked up recently at Tuesday Morning. Man do I ever LOVE looking thru that stores crafty section?!! I always spend to much $$ and I may get to one again tomorrow?!  The stamp I think was a .25 cent Yard Sale find?? It says Hooks Lines & Inkers '93 on the side of it? That's a new one too me never heard of it? Guessing they are no longer around? I colored it with Copics and fussy cut it out. That's about it? Ladybug Ladybug

I'm baaaaaaaack! See if  i can go for another full week of blog posts? Today's card use's the stamp that I think started this crafting hobby aka addiction for me? Pretty sure this was the first one of MANY Penny Black stamps that are now a part of my collection. I just LOVE them! The Hedgehogs and Cats being my most favorite. Sad thing is.....have nowhere near used them all yet. Please insert the blushing emoji here!! Some day I should count and see how many I have???

For my card I used a new embossing folder that I picked up back in October at the Stamp show. Not sure how well you can see it but it's ladybugs. It's by Darice and is it ever cute!! My image is colored with a combo of Copics and Prisma Color Pencils. I just can't seem to get  Hedgehog or House Mouse fur to look good with markers. I added Glossy Accents to the ladybug and some rhinestones to the sentiment banner. The ribbon isn't part of the sketch put i just felt it needed something to tie it all together?!! Love how it turned out and it is one of my top favorite color combos.

Cupcake Bear

Hello!! Well I DID It!! One full week of blog posts?! I even have one partially ready for tomorrow. I've been on a roll with card making the past 2 weeks. The challenges have really helped inspire me. I make a lot more cards than I post but thanks to challenges it really pushes me to keep at it.

I just had to make another card with this Birthday paper while I had it out on my table. I found this adorable teddy bear in my bin of already colored images that matched it perfectly! It's a digital freebie from over at Beccy's Place. It's colored with Prisma color pencils. I added Stickles to the icing and Glossy Accent to the nose and paw pads. The image is fussy cut out and mounted onto a embossed circle. Finished it off with another paper bow (really going to miss this borrowed punch when I have to return it!) and some enamel dots. Isn't it cute?!! Love how it turned out!!

TGIF!! Today I have another quick card to share with you. My card today uses some very sparkly cloth type stickers that I got from Hobby Lobby. The picture doesn't do them justice for how glittery they really are. I used 2 different embossing folder to give it some added texture. I left off a sentiment cause I think this card could go 2 different ways?? Either a Valentine or Birthday card? Anyway it was quick and easy and I didn't use yellow?!! Birthday Balloon

Hello! I have a quick and easy card to share with you today! No stamping involved, seem to be having a lot of those lately! When I first saw the TSOT sketch I thought I'd make a baby card? But that I saw the Double D Challenge to use balloons and another idea formed. My Balloon is a actually a very detailed sticker. I've been using more and more stickers on my cards lately too?? They make such pretty and detailed (3D) ones now. This is not the card I had planned to share today so it looks like my streak of using yellow will continue!! Daffodil Days

Hello! Today I have a quick and easy card to share with you. It helped that the adorable little House Mouse image was already colored. It's actually been awhile since I've colored anything? I tend to go thru spurts where I set and color or take stuff with me to color if I'm going to be somewhere that I have to sit and wait. Anyway it's nice to have a box of all ready colored images on hand and ready to go! I used Avery Elle Wonky Stitched dies to cut out my image and the background paper. Added some rain drop embellishments over top the image and some rhinestones to the corners. Topped it off with a paper bow. And even today's card has a touch of yellow!! LOL But......thinking tomorrow's won't?!! ;-) Anyway that's it for today and thank you for stopping by!

Birthday Daisies

Hello, I'm back!! 3rd day in a row? It's been awhile since that's happened! And it would appear I'm on a roll with the color yellow also?? Maybe I'm just trying to brighten up the dreary days of winter?? Although we have been have a pretty mild Winter here so far? Now that I say that.....look out!!

My card today uses a Bugaboo digi. Isn't this little guy just the cutest??! It's colored with Copics and cut out with a Paper Smooches tag die. Topped it off with a paper gingham bow that I made with a SU punch that I borrowed from a friend. Man I should have bought that one! That's it for today maybe I'll be back again tomorrow?! Emoji Fun

Hello! As soon as I saw the sketch over at Paper Players this week I knew exactly what I wanted to do!! I had been playing around with these emoji dies that came along with an embossing folder and wondering how exactly to use them on a card? This sketch was perfect! Love how this card turned out. The hardest part was cutting out all the little accent colors/pieces. I think it will be the perfect card for the "Millennial" age specially?! Thanks so much for stopping by! Tea Cozy

Hello! I've made it back into the craft room again recently and decided it's time to do some challenges to help with the MOJO?!  The trick it remembering to make a post of them to my blog?! Cutting it pretty close to the wire with my take on the current TMS sketch. This is actually my 2nd attempt on the sketch my first one ended up way to off base! LOL   Love how this one turned out. I went with different colors than I normally use and I'm happy with the results. My Penny Black mice are colored with my Prisma color pencils and fussy cut out.
