Anniversary Rose

Happy Memorial Day! My card today uses the Rose from the Gina K Designs set A Year of Flowers. I stamped the flower twice colored it and cut one out and popped it up. Hello! Today I have another gingham/fruit card for you, makes me think of summer! Saw a sign today on the way home from church that the local berry patch is open, I hope the weather clears up so we can go pick some this week! Love Strawberry shortcake, YUM! Hello! My card uses this week's Card Patterns sketch. I also used this weeks color challenge on Stamp TV which is Red, White & Blue. After I added my sentiment at the bottom it looked a little empty so I got out my Ornare Paper Piercer template and added a little design! I added a few little pearls to the center of the swirls. My 1st Shaker card!

Hello! Well I finally made a shaker card! I saw the challenge on Stamp TV and thought I'd give it a try. I had this Repeat Impressions sketch laying here also and thought they would go perfectly together! I figured the best way to make a shaker was to use my nesties then I remembered my Lovely Labels stamp set(which cordinates with nesties) and thought it would make it easier to cut out a window! I used a recyled piece of packaging for the window itself, an I added some mini safety pins for the shaker part! I like how it turned out! Thanks for stopping by!

Field of Dreams

Hello!! I just realized that I've had my blog for 1 year! It doesn't seem like that long. I'm so thankful that a friend encouraged me and helped me get one started! I can't believe I'm almost at 50 followers, Wow!! Thanks so much for all the visits and comments, I really appreciate them!

Today's card uses this weeks Sweet Stop sketch with a twist. The twist is one for the guys which I combined with this week's OCC challenge which is Masculine Birthday! I also used the Just us Girls color challenge which is Red, White Blue & Kraft (optional). I just happened to have a piece of DP in my stash with all those colors! I wanted some little baseball accents and didn't have any brads or anything with them on so I made my own with some white buttons and a copic marker. I think they turned out good! Sorry for the shadow over the sentiment, might have to try to get a better picture later! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Box in a Bag

Hello! Today I went out of my box and made something other than a card! It's for the JustRite challenge for Inexpensive gift Ideas. I used a tutorial over on SCS to make this Box in a Bag.
