Winter Wonderland

Hello! The Ways to Use it challenge on SCS today was "Lets go Caroling"! I picked the song Winter Wonderland for my inspiration, that allowed me to use one of my favorite Christmas card color combo's Blue & White! I Love this tree stamp that is in the SU Lovely as a Tree set. It's so versatile you can use it for masculine, sympathy, and of course Christmas cards! I used 4 different snowflake punches and my CB snowflake folder. The tree panel is raised up with foam tape. I found the string beaded pearls in the Holiday ribbon section at M's last year along with the satin Blue ribbion that was in the $1 rack. Wish I would have bought more of that ribbon, it has gorgous silver strips in it. I was able to fit in alot of challenges on this card, a record for me "17"! I'm happy with how it turned out! Thanks for stopping by!

Poinsettia Watering Can

Hello! It's starting to look and feel like winter! We had 3+ inches of snow yesterday. It was Beautiful this morning with the trees all covered in snow. Love this kind of snow, it's to warm out to stick on the roads and it's gone in a day or so!
On to my card. I don't usually make square cards because I don't have any clear envelopes/sleeves to stick them in but I had this Beautiful Poinsettia image that I received from my friend Stacy over on SCS and it was to large for a normal A2 size card. The base of my card is a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 Embossed card from DCVW. This is another multiple challenge card. I used the color challenge on Stamp TV. The colors were Red, Green, and Gold. I used the Sketch Saturday sketch # 80. The Creative Card Crew challenge this week was to make a Christmas card. The Incy Wincy Challenge is to use Red & Green and Rosie & Dee's challenge was Red, Green and a bit of Bling! I think it also fits the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge which was a CAS card this week. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great week!

Blue Christmas

Hello! Today's card is a another multiple challenge card! I used the Stamp TV Potluck Challenge to "Show our Wrinkles"! I misted the music BG layer with some water and "wrinkled" it up. The ABC Challenge this week is the letter "I" for Indigo Blue. The Cuttlebug Challenge this week is "Glitter". I stamped the image with Colorbox Frost White ink and covered it with Snowflake Embossing Tinsel by Ranger. The tree is very sparkly! The PaperPlay Challenge this week was Christmas without Red or Green and the A Spoon full of Sugar was a non traditional (no red or green) Christmas. The Sophisti-Cat Challenge this week was Snowflakes and Sparkle. I used the CB snowflake embossing folder and the tree is full of sparkle! Thanks to Avril for the heads up this is also for the Tuesday Taggers challenge to use a Christmas Carol. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend!

Christmas Kitty

Hello! Today I have another multiple challenge card for you! The Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge this week was to have a present somewhere on your card. When I saw the High Hopes sketch challenge this week I knew that I could turn the one panel into a present pretty easily. It's also for the La-La's weekly Wednesday challenge which was to use buttons and for the Stamp TV technique challenge to use Liquid Applique. It's for the Pollycraft Monday challenge to create something with a Christmas theme and for the Kraftin Kimmie challenge which is Touchy Feely. I think the Liquid Applique works for that and I did some dry embossing also! I'm tickled with how this card turned out! Thanks for stopping by and let me know what you think. Have a great day!
