Hello! It's Tuesday so that means it's new sketch time once again at Tuesday Morning Sketches. Let me say this card was a REAL struggle! Seem to be having a lot of those lately. It's not my favorite by any means but it's done! The image has been in my box for ages and I have no clue what it is. I tried adding some sequins and should have stopped there but.....got out a bottle of white enamel and went a little crazy making dots. I like them on the butterfly but not so much in the center of the sequins. Live an learn and better luck next week! Hello! I actually had a bit of the crafty mojo this weekend, for something besides the normal DT stuff I needed to get done. I was inspired by this card my blogging friend Carol made! Happy Thoughts

Hello and Happy Tuesday! This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches we are sponsored by DRS Designs. I have used Polka Dot Flower Trio and One Line Happy Thoughts Greeting on my card. I heat embossed my image and colored it with my copics. I added some stickles to the butterfly. Dusted off my corner punch, man its be ages since I used that! Added a few gems to finish it off. Love the colors on this one, kinda monochromatic?? Bunny Hugs

Hello! My card today uses the adorable Bunny Love from over at From The Heart. It also uses their current sketch at I {heart} Sketches. Tried to keep this card from looking like a valentine. I wanted it to be a more thinking of you, sending you hugs kinda card. I just got in a huge order of paper from the Papertrey Ink sale back in January an wanted to use some. Now all I need is a Hugs die cut to finish it off but I don't have one! Will have to keep my eye out for one. I still think it turned out cute so I'm also entering it in the Cute Card Thursday, Anything Goes challenge as well. Thanks for stopping by an have a great weekend!

Hello! Hope you are keeping warm today, it sure is COLD here in south central PA! Today i have a card for you that i made using the Justrite Friday Challenge sketch. I really think i need to invest in a set of banner dies because cutting them by hand is almost impossible to get them even. I am happy with how my card turned out though. I think this has become a new favorite color combo. With these MME papers it has a nice vintage/shabby chic kind of feel to it. I should have added some lace with the ribbon maybe?? My picture really doesn't do it justice, winter and lack of good light make for poor photos. :0(  Anyway thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Ruff Day?

Hello! It's time for another fun challenge at Paper and Such! This time round the challenge is Snips, Snails and Puppy dog tails! So any "bug" or "puppy" image will work! I used the Patriot and Friends set for my card. I went with a more CAS card today, thought it showed off the fun puppy paper that i found. Butterfly Wishes

Hello! It's the 3rd Saturday of the Month so that means it's time for Sketch with a spin this week at The Sweet Stop! This weeks spin is chipboard. I used a chipboard button and added some pretty ribbon and a bow. I needed a break from Fall/Christmas cards so I dug out a Penny Black stamp to play with. I just love these little hedgehogs! Hello Sunshine!

Hello! It's time for the Paper and Such sneak peeks to begin! Today's sneak peek is of the new Chicken Wire background stamp that will be released on the 9th. This will be a great stamp to go along with the exclusive  "Hot Shot" line of chicken stamps that Paper and Such carries.  I went outside the box with my card though, I kept  seeing flowers so I went with it!! Hello!! This is my second post for today, The Sweet Stop sketch is in the post below. It's been a long while since I've played with my Stampscapes stamps. I love how this one turned out so thought I'd share! I masked of my moon and added sparkle to the trees using my clear glitter pen (don't think that shows in the pic though), it is very sparkly! Hello! Gorgeous day here in south central PA! Today's card uses my favorite embossing folder, Love this folder! I like the look it gives when you emboss your entire image like I did today. I colored it with my copics. The Butterfly is covered with stickles and is very sparkly, not sure how well that shows up in this photo. I think this card could be used as a breast cancer card too.
