Hello I'm back with yet another Valentine card! I found this sheet of paper at Hobby Lobby and just had to use it right away. This card looked much better in person. The weather has been making it hard to get out for good pictures. Sure has been "snowy" the past week or two! Guessing we've been spoiled by all the milder winters we've had the past few years. Dug out and oldie my MS heart border punch! I like it but it will sadly only work on very thin card stock or paper. Guessing that's probably why you can no longer get them? Hello!! Today I have another Valentine card to share with you! This one I'll be giving to my hubby! This Penny Black kitty reminds me of our 2 newest babies. I colored the image with my Copic markers, fussy cut it and popped it up. I used a mixture of die cut and stamped hearts to make/build my collage. Added a banner sentiment and some rhinestones to finish it off. You'll be seeing more of this kitty/image as I used it for all my other Valentine's this year too! LOVE Penny Black!! I added a picture of my sleeping angels but don't let that fool you they aren't always this quiet/calm!  That's it for now thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Ladybug Ladybug

I'm baaaaaaaack! See if  i can go for another full week of blog posts? Today's card use's the stamp that I think started this crafting hobby aka addiction for me? Pretty sure this was the first one of MANY Penny Black stamps that are now a part of my collection. I just LOVE them! The Hedgehogs and Cats being my most favorite. Sad thing is.....have nowhere near used them all yet. Please insert the blushing emoji here!! Some day I should count and see how many I have???

For my card I used a new embossing folder that I picked up back in October at the Stamp show. Not sure how well you can see it but it's ladybugs. It's by Darice and is it ever cute!! My image is colored with a combo of Copics and Prisma Color Pencils. I just can't seem to get  Hedgehog or House Mouse fur to look good with markers. I added Glossy Accents to the ladybug and some rhinestones to the sentiment banner. The ribbon isn't part of the sketch put i just felt it needed something to tie it all together?!! Love how it turned out and it is one of my top favorite color combos.

Tea Cozy

Hello! I've made it back into the craft room again recently and decided it's time to do some challenges to help with the MOJO?!  The trick it remembering to make a post of them to my blog?! Cutting it pretty close to the wire with my take on the current TMS sketch. This is actually my 2nd attempt on the sketch my first one ended up way to off base! LOL   Love how this one turned out. I went with different colors than I normally use and I'm happy with the results. My Penny Black mice are colored with my Prisma color pencils and fussy cut out. Berry, Berry Christmas!

Hello! Nothing brings a smile to the face like an adorable Penny Black stamp?! This cute little Hedgehog is no exception. I colored him with my Prismacolor pencils and added some Glossy Accents to the berries.  I cut him out with a wonky stitched die and added some brads in the corners. Found the perfect scraps of holly and corrugated paper in my stash. Love how it turned out, makes me smile!! :-)  Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to check back again soon! Happy Birthday Slugger

Hello! Today I have CAS (for me anyway) card to share with you. When I came across this sketch I immediately thought baseball diamond so I dug through my box of already colored images and found this Penny Black cat. It's colored with a mix of Copics and Prismacolor pencils. I used a stitched die and added little metal embellishments in the corners to kinda make it look like bases. I added a star under the baseball to make it stand out a bit more and to tie in with the star embossing folder I used for the background. Finished it off with a Happy Birthday banner. I kept wanting to add more cause of all the white space but I walked away and left it be! That's it for today thanks so much for stopping by and I plan to be back tomorrow with another card! Happy Anniversary

Hello! Today's card uses a Penny Black stamp called Warm and Fuzzy! I Love this stamp for Anniversary/Love type cards. I colored it with my Copics and fussy cut it out. I used the sketch below but flipped it to work better with my image. The embossed panel in the back uses a SU folder and I don't remember what it's called? I've been using it a lot this week. Hello and Happy New Year! It's time at Tuesday Morning Sketches for us to visit some of our favorite sketches from the past year. This week it's Carol's pick and it happens to be one of my sketches. I used a Penny Black image for my card, it's called "Join-In". Colored with my Prisma colored pencils, I've really been on a coloring kick with my pencils lately. Christmas Spirit

Hello! Today I came across a blog hop that's right up my alley, Cat Lover's Blog Hop! It's already half way over but will still try to get a couple of cards done for it. For my first card I dusted off one of my beloved Penny Black stamps. This one is called Christmas Spirit and I colored it with my copics. I used the Your Next Stamp sketch and added 2 felt buttons. The berries and bow have some stickles added to them but the sparkle doesn't show up well in my photo. That's it for now but I'll be back again soon! List of challenges is listed below.

Butterfly Bear

Hello! It's the last week of our birthday celebration month at Tuesday Morning Sketches. This weeks theme to go along with the sketch is stamping, so a super easy one! I used another Penny Black stamp, this one is called Butterfly Bear. The bear was done with my Prisma colored pencils, the butterflies were done with my copics then covered with Stickles. In place of ribbon I used a daisy chain flower punch and added some buttons. Used some scraps of paper to make little flag banners and called it done. Batter Batter Swing!  Hey there it's Tuesday so time for a new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. When I first saw this sketch I thought I'd either do a Birthday or Christmas card! I was playing around with this adorable little hedgie for another challenge an all of a sudden I thought baseball diamond and remembered this sketch an thought it would be perfect for it! I did change my layers around but still keep the basic layout. My image is colored with both Copics and Prismacolor pencils. I just can't get the fur to look right with my markers. Ladybug & Hedgehog

Hello! Well as you can see I never made it back yesterday for a post! Had a great day though, lunch out at Olive Garden and then an afternoon of shopping with my Bestie. Perfect way to spend the day!I have another Penny Black Hedgie card to share with you today. This one is called Ladybug & Hedgehog. I usually do this little guy in a Red, White & Black color scheme. All Dressed Up

Hello! It's time for another new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches!  I have yet another card using this adorable Penny Black Puppy. He is just to cute and a perfect image for Father's Day cards, in my opinion anyway! He is also colored with copics with some glossy accents added to his nose (Be sure to check out my earlier post this week to see a picture of one of our fur babies dressed up in his tie! You can find it here.) I layered several Spellbinders Label 3 dies and ran a piece of jute ribbon in between them. I added some texture to my bottom label with my much loved SU lattice embossing folder. Finished off with some silver bling. I LOVE the colors on this one a lot. Happy Tails

Hello! I seem to be on a masculine card roll here of late??! And I know there is another one for sure this week. I just LOVE this little guy! I wish there was a cat version of this stamp. My cat may or may not have a tie of his own?!?  My husband has this guy very spoiled and this cat will but up with anything if it means he gets treats in the end. He has quite the costume collection. Everyone gets a kick out picking things up for him.  I swear he acts more like a puppy then a cat most days. Anyhow back to my card! Hello! It's Tuesday so that means it's time for another fun sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches! I'll admit this sketch had me stumped for awhile. Took me a couple days of playing around till I came up with something I liked but I'm happy with the end results! The sentiment is from a Penny Black clear set and it is heat embossed and than sponged. The die cut is from Kaisercraft an its called Berry Vine, I cut it apart to fit my card. Ladybug Love

Hello! The Penny Black and More challenge this month is Favorite Stamp. Well don't know that I could ever pick just one!! So I went with my favorite overall stamps, Penny Black. Then I decided to go with the first one I ever bought, Garden Gossip because I couldn't pick out just one this way either?! I just love all those cute little hedgehogs and of course the kitty ones too. I water colored the image an added some glossy accent to the little ladybug. Since I still had some of that pretty ladybug paper on my table from my PigWit card I went ahead an used it again.
