Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has created this week.
Hello! I have a CAS Graduation card to share with you today! As soon as I saw this sketch I saw a Graduation card, and I had the perfect dies to fit it! I used the Impression ObsessionMini Mortorboard and Grad dies. They were so much fun to play with! I cut out extras so I'm sure there will be more cards made soon. Thanks so much for stopping by. Challenges I used for my cards are listed below.
Hello! It's Tuesday so that means it's time for another great sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches! This week we're being sponsored by DRS Designs. They are offering a 15% off offer to our lucky winner. For my card I used the Silhouette Male Golfer and Especially Fore You Greeting. I'm always in need of masculine cards for my stash so I went ahead an made 2 cards while I was at it. I think these could be used for multiple occasions! Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with.
Hello! I actually had a bit of the crafty mojo this weekend, for something besides the normal DT stuff I needed to get done. I was inspired by this card my blogging friend Carol made! I used this adorable little peeking hedgie from my Hedgie Friends set by Penny Black. I really like this layout and see myself using this one again. List of challenges I'm entering are listed below. Thanks for stopping by!
Hello! It's Tuesday so that means it's time for another new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. Another one that I struggled with and I'm not sure I like what I came up with? I'll say that it's a very poor picture but our weather has been kinda crappy an this was the best I could do. It's a very pretty shade of grey with blush colored butterflies in real life. The flower die is by Darcie (Thanks to Carol I had to have this die!) and the Happy Birthday is off Amazon. The butterflies are a MS punch. Thanks so much for stopping by an be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with!
Hello! It's time for another new sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. I sorta added a few extras, me and CAS (clean and simple) don't usually get along! ;-) I used one of my much neglected Fluffles the Cat stamps for my card. It's colored with Copics and softly sponged around while still in the die. I added some pretty ribbon and a few rhinestones an called it done. Thanks so much for stopping by I love reading your comments Be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with also!
Hello! It's Tuesday so that means its new sketch time at Tuesday Morning Sketches! I heat embossed my sentiment on this pretty die cut scrap I had in my stash and sponged around the edges of it a bit. Added my butterflies, paper flag and some pearls and called it done. I'm thinking this would make a great Graduation card possibly?! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with this week.
Hello! I've had this image colored and laying on my table for ages, even had the papers all picked out. I finally got around to making it into a card! I left off a sentiment so it can be used for any occasion. The challenges I'm entering are listed below. Thanks for stopping by an be sure to check back tomorrow for the new sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.
Hello! Before I get started on the details of my 3rd and final card as the April Guest Designer at Great Impressions. I just wanted to say a great Big Thank You for this wonderful opportunity to be a Guest Designer! I’ve had a lot of fun playing with your cute stamps!
For my card today I have used the beautiful Spring Floral Jars. I heat embossed the image in White on Kraft cardstock and colored it with my Copics. I've always wanted to try this and I'm very pleased with how it turned out! I found this lacy paper in my stash and thought it went perfectly with this image. I paired it with some Gingham and twine an finished it off with some pearls. The Happy Mother’s Day sentiment is also heat embossed but in Black so that it stands out more. I'm very happy with this card. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you get a chance to play along with this month's April Shower's Theme Challenge that's still going on.
Hello! It's Tuesday so that means it's time for another fun sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches! I'll admit this sketch had me stumped for awhile. Took me a couple days of playing around till I came up with something I liked but I'm happy with the end results! The sentiment is from a Penny Black clear set and it is heat embossed and than sponged. The die cut is from Kaisercraft an its called Berry Vine, I cut it apart to fit my card. Added some flowers and rhinestones and called it done. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with this week.
Hello! It's time for my 2nd card as Guest Designer for the month of April at Great Impressions! I’ve used the cute Dog & Bird stamp! It was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers. I shaded around the image with some Distress Ink while it was still in the die. The main image is raised up with some foam tape with a layer of Corrugated card stock and twine under it on top of the Label 18 die cut. It gives it a nice 3D effect. I finished it off with a twine bow and paw print brad. Isn't this just the cutest image?! I LOVE how this one turned out. Thanks for stopping by an hope to see you again soon!
Hello! Todays card is all about the die cutting, the only stamping is the sentiment. I used my Stampin Up Tulip embossing folder as my base. The grass is a Sweet 'n Sassy die, the hill is a no name die off Amazon, the bunnies are Impression Obsession, the eggs are an old sizzix die ( I never get rid of anything it seems!!) and the little flowers are a punch. I find I really enjoy making these kinds of cards, playing with my dies! Hope you enjoy it too. Thanks for stopping by an be sure to stop back by tomorrow to see my next Great Impressions Guest DT card! Have a great weekend!!
Hello! This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches we are being sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps. I have used the adorable Eggbert Bunny for my card. He is colored with copics. I had to flip the sketch to make it work but I kept with the heart theme. Thanks for stopping by an be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with.
Hello! Today's card uses the cute Bugaboo image called Flower Bird! I colored it with my copics and softly sponged the edges to give it a little more dimension. The whole image layer is raised with foam tape. I left off a sentiment so it could be used for many different occasions. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check back tomorrow for the new Tuesday Morning Sketch!
.....bring May flowers. Hello!! I have some very happy news to share today! Back in February I won the Great Impressions monthly challenge and part of that win is getting to be a guest designer for a month. Thanks so much for the wonderful opportunity! Can't wait to share my creations with everyone.
My first card for Great Impressions is for their April Challenge. The theme is "April showers bring May flowers." My card uses the very ADORABLE Duck with Umbrella along with the April Showers sentiment. I paper pieced the boots and umbrella plus I added some glittery glue to the water puddle. My papers and cloud die cuts are from PTI. I also added some Cloud 9 Rain Dots on
rain drops. The Inspiration photo and prize for the month are pictured below. Thanks so much for stopping by an I hope you get a chance to play along with the challenge this month!
Hello! The other week I was invited to pick a image an be a Guest Designer for Digital Delights! Of course I said yes!! I choose the Adorable Bertie Bunny for my card, isn't she just the cutest??! I colored her with my copics, added some stickles to the flower, and some glossy accents to her nose. The pretty papers are from an older DCVW Spring 6x6 pad that I picked up at Jo Ann's I believe? So wish I would have gotten more than 1! Added lots of little extra embellishments on this card but I think it turned out cute! Thanks so much to Digital Delights for inviting me to join them today.
Hello and Happy Tuesday!! It's time for another great sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches and this is my take on it. I deviated a bit this week but I love how it turned out. Found this image when digging thru my already colored images box and decided to go with it. It's from the Because I Care stamp set from Stampin Up. The papers are Paper Trey. Thanks for stopping by an be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has created with this weeks sketch.
Hello! Well I made time for another card. Knew I had to use this sketch when I saw it, lots of layers just the way I like. My image is from Bugaboo but I can't remember the name and the store seems to be down at the moment due to moving. My ladybugs are flat backed an wooden. I found them at either Jo Ann's or Michael's in their spring crafting section a year or two ago I think? My memory isn't what it used to be! I bought some little bees in the same trip but have yet to use them. That's it for now be sure to check back tomorrow for the new Tuesday Morning Sketch.
Hello! Been slacking on blog posts here of late! A lot of the stuff I've been working on is for up coming DT stuff though, plus darn work has been cutting into my crafty time as well. But I had to make sure I got my card in for the progressive challenge this month over at From the Heart. I don't usually make St Patty's day cards and since it's past anyway I went another route with my card. Although I'm second guessing my choice?! Is it appropriate? Thoughts?? Ok that's all for now maybe I'll get cracking an have a card for tomorrow too?! If not I'll be back Tuesday for sure with the new Tuesday Morning Sketch! Thanks for stopping by an enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Hello! It's Tuesday so its time for another new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. My card today uses a couple of cute duck digi's I bought back in December from Doodle Pantry before they closed. I couldn't pass up their 75% off going out of business sale. Sure will miss their cute stuff though. Not sure I like my card? I picked my paper based on the sketch photo.......but thinking that paper might have been better paired with a large sentiment image instead?! Oh well it is what it is. Can't Love them all I guess! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has created this week.
Hello! Today's card uses one of the adorable Gruffies stamps. I colored it with my prismacolor pencils and did the out of the box look with the balloon. I dug thru my embossing folders and found this forgotten gem, been ages since I used it! Perfect for my birthday card. Challenges I'm entering are listed below. Thanks for stopping and if your a local peep stay warm it's freezing out there today!!
Hello! This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches we have 2 different versions of the sketch for you to chose from! I admit at first I was REALLY stumped! But then I thought my Lili of the ValleyJames Peeping Bear stamp. This sketch is perfect for him! LOVE how this turned out. I colored him with my Copics and "popped" up his feet with some foam tape. I layered some gingham ribbons and finished it off with a bow and pretty rhinestones. My paper is PTI. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out and see what the rest of the DT has come up with this week. Challenges are listed below.
Hello! Thinking Spring even though a big snow storm is possibly headed our way! My card uses a colored digi from Beccy's Place. I think it may be retired because I couldn't find in currently in the store. This is my 1st time using a pre colored image. I printed it out ages ago to use as a guide to color my own image but decided to cut this one out an just use it! Found this chevron paper that matched and it went from there. The embossed panel is the SU shell folder. Added some buttons with Baker's Twine an called it done. I think it's a very cheerful card. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
Hello! Been a few days since my last post. I'm trying to get ahead on my DT stuff in case we get this big snow storm next week! If we'd lose power (which living in the woods it happens frequently in bad storms) I wanted to have my cards made, photographed and blog posts written/scheduled. Now that I've planned ahead it will be a big dud i'm sure!
Today's card uses a digi from Scrap N' Dipity that I won the other week in some challenge! It's called Pile of Frogs. Thought it would make some cute kids cards maybe even a baby card too sometime??! Went with a boy card this time round but found some cute pink "froggy" paper in my stash so I'm sure there will be a girly version in the near future?!! My card uses this weeks Freshly Made Sketch but as usual I may have went a little heavy on all my layers!! Me and CAS just don't get along! Anyway I think it turned out cute. Thanks for stopping by an enjoy the rest of your weekend! Challenges are listed below.
