Happy Valentine's Day

Hello! I tried a new fun technique today! The technique challenge today over on SCS was Heat Embossing on Dry Embossing. I ran my Versamark pad over the raised Dry Embossing and then added my clear Embossing Powder. I couldn't get a good picture of it but the raised embossing is really shiny. Next time I might get brave and try colored embossing powder!! I didn't color my whole image I wanted my flowers to stand out. I thought the heart shaped flower petals would make a perfect Valentine's card for a friend! I added some pearls to the flower centers. List of supplies and challenges used is below. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week! I think we might be having some nasty weather headed our way.

Pamper Me

Hello! Today I have a newly released digi from Sweet n Sassy Stamps to share with you! Cocoa now has a girlfriend, her name is Cookie!! Isn't she adorable??

The main image is raised up with foam tape. I added some Glossy accents to the nail polish bottle and the lip stick, it really makes them pop! I took a paper doily and cut it in half and folded it to make a fan. Added a feather behind it that I found in my scraps box. Took my bow easy and made a triple bow to add to the top and finshed it off with a button from my stash. This card is 5 1/2 x 5 3/4. I couldn't get all my stuff to fit on a A2 size card! Making these bigger cards is kinda fun though.

I left my bottom right corner empty for now..... I'd like to add a sentiment but not sure what I want to put?? Any ideas?? I'm thinking this would be a good card to use for a birthday. Just add a gift certificate for a manicure/pedicure and you have the perfect gift! I'm thinking then I could maybe add a "Pamper Me" sentiment?? Any other suggestions??

The challenges I used are listed below along with a list of supplies used. Thanks for stopping by!

Winter's Butterfly

Hello! Today I have a pretty CAS card for you. The only stamping is the sentiment which is heat embossed. I inked up my CB folder with some Pink Pirouette ink before embossing, that made the snowflakes really pop! I added a big snowflake diecut and popped it up. Snow Special

Hello! My Mom got me the new MS big snowflake trim punch for Christmas and I was anxious to play with it!! It went perfectly with this newly released "Snow Special" snowman set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

I cut out my snowman and popped him up on top of a label 4 die that I had softly sponged in matching colors. The label 4 die is raised up also. The background DP was embossed and then softly sanded, it really made the snowflakes pop. I like the distressed look it added also. I added flower soft to the ear muffs for more texture. I really like the soft girly feel of this card! Thanks for stopping by!
