Cat Sympathy

Hello! Today I have a CAS cat sympathy card to share with you. I heat embossed one of the sentiments from the Our Daily Bread Designs Cat Sympathy set (although now I think that company must go by another name?!) and added a cat die cut from Cottage Cutz. Finished it off with some nail heads in the corners of the sentiment. Just looked to naked without. I struggle to do CAS! Less isn't more to me?! Ha ha ha Well thats it for now short and sweet! Thanks for stopping by. Challenges are listed below.

CAS Christmas

Hello! I have a quick and CAS card to share with you today. I so struggle with these. It looks so plain to me and I keep wanting to add more/something?! I did add some gold pearls as a dot to the "i" and the center of the large star at the top. It does look so much better than the picture shows though. That's it for now but I'm working on more cards so check back again soon!

CAS Birthday

Hello!! Today I have a CAS card to share with you! Let me tell you how VERY hard this was for me to NOT add another layer instead of just the plain cream card base!! This came together pretty quickly. Great way to show case the pretty sparkly K&CO DSP not that you can tell at all in my picture. I made my butterfly accent with some Prima type flowers. I used the center flower stem to make the butterfly antennas. Embossed my sentiment and added some rhinestones and called it done! Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend! Challenges used are listed below.

Kitty Love

WoW! What a GORGEOUS day we had here in South Central PA today?! Think it got up to 65 today? In February! Needless to say I did not make it to the stamp room today. I spent some time outside soaking up some Vitamin D! Went for a long walk and than cleaned up in the yard under the bird feeders and stuff like that.

I made this card over the weekend and man do I ever struggle with CAS!! I kept wanting to add more layers! LOL The papers are from a Valentine's K&Company pad that I picked up recently at Tuesday Morning. Man do I ever LOVE looking thru that stores crafty section?!! I always spend to much $$ and I may get to one again tomorrow?!  The stamp I think was a .25 cent Yard Sale find?? It says Hooks Lines & Inkers '93 on the side of it? That's a new one too me never heard of it? Guessing they are no longer around? I colored it with Copics and fussy cut it out. That's about it? Thanks for stopping by and hopefully I'll be back again tomorrow night with another post?! List of challenges is listed below.

Sugar Sugar

TGIF!! Today I have another quick card to share with you. My card today uses some very sparkly cloth type stickers that I got from Hobby Lobby. The picture doesn't do them justice for how glittery they really are. I used 2 different embossing folder to give it some added texture. I left off a sentiment cause I think this card could go 2 different ways?? Either a Valentine or Birthday card? Anyway it was quick and easy and I didn't use yellow?!! LOL  Hope you have a great weekend and hopefully I'll be back tomorrow with another card? That would make a full week of posting for me?! Thanks for stopping by I LOVE reading your comments! List of challenges used is below.

Congratulations!

Hello! Today I have a CAS card to share with you. When I saw this sketch I immediately thought of a Graduation card and had the perfect thing for it! As with many of the things I've been using recently these rhinestone stickers also followed me home from that Hobby Lobby 75% clearance clean out along with the sentiment/stamp. If I had it to do over I would have placed the sentiment on the left hand side instead but still pretty happy with the results. Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to stop back tomorrow for the new Tuesday Morning Sketch! Challenges are listed below.

Mistletoe and Holly

Hello! Today's card was inspired by my friend Carol! When I saw the cards she made I knew I had to case them. Here is the card/s I cased, Traditional Christmas Colors. I wish I had the holly embossing folder she used because it's so pretty and I love all the berries but made due with this one. My ribbon is much narrower  and I used some scraps of DP for my Holly. Oh and I add an extra layer/base. That's it for now! Be sure to stop back by tomorrow for the new Tuesday Morning Sketch. List of challenges are below.

Glitter Ornaments

Hello! Managed to make it to the craft room for a bit to make this CAS card. Awhile back when I was at the Dollar Tree I came across these pks of self adhesive "glitter" paper. Thought it would make some sparkly cards. Anyway I saw the YNS inspiration picture and thought I'd try out this paper. It cut easily and the best way to describe it is to say it's like making your own stickers?!?! They are thin when peeled of the backing but they don't lose there sparkle/glitter. If they still have some next time I go I will be picking up some more. Three 8 1/2x 11 sheets for $1 is a great deal. The ornaments are Impression Obsession and the snowflakes are Art Impressions I think? I need to find a place to buy that silver cord in bulk! I always pick up the spool with 3 colors (Red, Gold & Silver) around the holidays at the "Box" craft stores and run out of silver an end up with tons of the other 2 colors. That's it for now thanks for stopping by!

Patriotic Thank you

Hello! I'm back for a quick 2nd post/card today.  My earlier Christmas card is below. This was a quick and easy one, only stamping is the sentiment. Lots of embossing and a few die cuts. Oh and a paper crimper on the heart. I think I want to remake this one again later in only Red, White and Blue??! Ok that's it for tonight! Be sure to stop back by in the morning for the new Tuesday Morning Sketch.

Peace & Joy

I'm back!! I have yet another Christmas card to share with you today. A die card with the only stamping being the sentiment. I was at a stamp show last weekend and added to my die collection or would that be obsession??!! LOL Anyway I realized recently that I had no ornament dies in my stash so when I saw the Impression Obsession set of 3 little ornaments I had to get them. Which worked out perfectly when I saw the picture for the Merry Monday challenge. I went with the literal interpretation for my card. Cut the ornament out of some heavy duty glitter card stock and added a little snowflake die to the center. The branches are from a Tim Holtz set that I picked up off of Amazon recently, gotta LOVE that Amazon Prime! The wood grain paper is by Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby. This is a very CAS card to do. I still haven't picked the design for my personal Christmas card to mail out but this one is in the running I think? It's flat and should be no issue mailing? I always make a mass production of 30 to 40 cards. That way I don't have to remember who got what from one year to the next. Makes it easier on me. That is if time/life doesn't get away from me and I can get cards made this year to send. Anyway thanks for stopping by and have a awesome day!

Christmas Bauble

Hello! Today's card uses the Alcohol Ink Baubles tutorial from over at Splitcoaststampers. This was a bit messy but a lot of fun! At first I didn't think I'd be able to do it because believe it or not I have no alcohol ink pads/reinkers?! Than I realized that I could use my Copic marker refills. I need to get some more glossy card stock and play around with other color combos! I used my Taylored Expressions Snowfall embossing folder for my background. The snowflake die cut is from Poppystamps. I didn't have any ornament dies so I turned this stitched tag die into one. A little larger than I'd like but it works. If this wasn't so messy to mass produce I'd consider this for my personal Christmas cards this year?!! Maybe if I find a smaller ornament die I like I'll change my mind! Anyway that's it for now, thanks so much for stopping by. Challenges are listed below.

Autumn Blessings

Hello! Today I have pretty CAS card to share with you! I embossed a piece of Coredinations card stock with a pumpkin folder and lightly sanded over it for the lighter core color to show thru. Added some ribbon and a die cut sentiment and called it done! Quick and Easy which doesn't happen often for me! ;-) List of challenges are listed below. Spooky

Hello! Today I have a CAS (Clean and Simple) card to share with you! I found this pack of googly eyes in different sizes and colors at one of the dollar stores? Thinking it was Dollar General but not positive? If not there it was the Dollar Tree, anyway I thought it would make some fun cards for Halloween?! Or possibly some monster birthday cards in the future? I embossed the background and randomly placed the eyes. Added and sentiment and called it done. Quick and Easy! Thanks for stopping by I enjoy reading your comments!

Hello! I have a CAS Graduation card to share with you today! As soon as I saw this sketch I saw a Graduation card, and I had the perfect dies to fit it! I used the Impression Obsession Mini Mortorboard and Grad dies. They were so much fun to play with! I cut out extras so I'm sure there will be more cards made soon. Thanks so much for stopping by. Congrats Grad!

Hello! I attempted another CAS Freshly Made Sketch today. CAS is so hard for me! I have a hard time with less is more. This one turned out ok I guess?? My picture is kinda crappy though. No stamping again today. The hat and sentiment were some stickers I found on clearance at M's sometime ago. The stars are from a Little B stitched stars set I bought off Amazon (That Amazon Prime gets me in so much trouble!!). I finished it off with a few silver pearls. Thanks for stopping by, the challenges I'm entering are listed below.

Hello! I'm back with a second post for today!  I had gotten this Memory Box Joy die from Simon Says Stamp back in November an hadn't had a chance to play with it yet. Boy do I LOVE this die!! Berry Wreath

Hello! Today's card was a pretty quick and easy one. Bonus I LOVE how it turned out! So much so that I made two exactly the same except for the sentiment. I heat embossed the PSX wreath and colored in the berries with my copics. Added a pretty double bow and added a sentiment (heat embossed also) an that was it. That wood panel DP really helped make the card I think?? I hope AC Moore's still carries it because I need to get  few more sheets for future use! Challenges I'm entering are listed below. Hope to have more cards this weekend!

Yuletide Blessings

Hello! Todays card is a Clean and Simple one although I can't exactly say a fast one! I knew what I wanted to use when I saw the sketch, snowflakes. Then I saw Beccy's Button challenge, that was the easy part. Finding the colors and papers I wanted to use.......took WAY to long! Anyway I think I want to try this sketch again an make it a birthday card. Maybe using flowers(either prima's or even flower shaped buttons) or cupcakes or something?? That's it for today be sure to stop back tomorrow for the new Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge! List of challenges are listed below.

Newsprint Thanks

Hello!! Today I have a Fall Thank you card to share with you. I think this is my favorite oak leaf stamp ever? It's from Just for Fun stamps and it's so much fun to color. I Love pairing them with twine bows. My MME newsprint paper did most of the work so I just added a die cut thanks from Hero's Art to finish it off! Love how it turned out. Mr. & Mrs.

Hello! Today's card is for the CAS(E) this Sketch #190 challenge. My mind went straight to wedding card when I saw this sketch. Perfect time to break in this new Kaisercraft die I bought! I used a Stampin Up embossing folder an added some nailheads to flower centers and a MFT Fancy Flourish as accent. I think it would look nice with just pearls as flower centers too? Maybe for my next one! It's also for the CCEE Stampers Challenge #1637 ~ Die Cuts / No Stamping. Thanks for stopping by an come back soon.
