Flower Fluffles

Hello! It's time for another new sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. I sorta added a few extras, me and CAS (clean and simple) don't usually get along! ;-)  I used one of my much neglected Fluffles the Cat stamps for my card. It's colored with Copics and softly sponged around while still in the die. I added some pretty ribbon and a few rhinestones an called it done. Thanks so much for stopping by I love reading your comments Be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with also!

Cherish, Live, Dream

Hello! It's Tuesday so that means its new sketch time at Tuesday Morning Sketches! I heat embossed my sentiment on this pretty die cut scrap I had in my stash and sponged around the edges of it a bit. Added my butterflies, paper flag and some pearls and called it done. I'm thinking this would make a great Graduation card possibly?! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with this week.

Gingham & Lace

Hello! Before I get started on the details of my 3rd and final card as the April Guest Designer at Great Impressions. I just wanted to say a great Big Thank You for this wonderful opportunity to be a Guest Designer! I’ve had a lot of fun playing with your cute stamps!

For my card today I have used the beautiful Spring Floral Jars. I heat embossed the image in White on Kraft cardstock and colored it with my Copics. I've always wanted to try this and I'm very pleased with how it turned out! I found this lacy paper in my stash and thought it went perfectly with this image. I paired it with some Gingham and twine an finished it off with some pearls. The Happy Mother’s Day sentiment is also heat embossed but in Black so that it stands out more. I'm very happy with this card. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you get a chance to play along with this month's April Shower's Theme Challenge that's still going on.

Live, Laugh, Love

Hello! It's Tuesday so that means it's time for another fun sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches! I'll admit this sketch had me stumped for awhile. Took me a couple days of playing around till I came up with something I liked but I'm happy with the end results! The sentiment is from a Penny Black clear set and it is heat embossed and than sponged. The die cut is from Kaisercraft an its called Berry Vine, I cut it apart to fit my card. Added some flowers and rhinestones and called it done. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with this week.

Your So Special!

Hello! It's time for my 2nd card as Guest Designer for the month of April at Great Impressions!  I’ve used the cute Dog & Bird stamp! It was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers. I shaded around the image with some Distress Ink while it was still in the die. The main image is raised up with some foam tape with a layer of Corrugated card stock and twine under it on top of the Label 18 die cut. It gives it a nice 3D effect. I finished it off with a twine bow and paw print brad. Isn't this just the cutest image?! I LOVE how this one turned out. Thanks for stopping by an hope to see you again soon!

Egg-cellent

Hello! Todays card is all about the die cutting, the only stamping is the sentiment. I used my Stampin Up Tulip embossing folder as my base. The grass is a Sweet 'n Sassy die, the hill is a no name die off Amazon, the bunnies are Impression Obsession, the eggs are an old sizzix die ( I never get rid of anything it seems!!) and the little flowers are a punch. I find I really enjoy making these kinds of cards, playing with my dies! Hope you enjoy it too. Thanks for stopping by an be sure to stop back by tomorrow to see my next Great Impressions Guest DT card! Have a great weekend!!

April Showers.....

.....bring May flowers. Hello!! I have some very happy news to share today!  Back in February I won the Great Impressions monthly challenge and part of that win is getting to be a guest designer for a month. Thanks so much for the wonderful opportunity! Can't wait to share my creations with everyone.

My first card for Great Impressions is for their April Challenge. The theme is "April showers bring May flowers." My card uses the very ADORABLE Duck with Umbrella along with the April Showers sentiment. I paper pieced the boots and umbrella plus I added some glittery glue to the water puddle. My papers and cloud die cuts are from PTI. I also added some Cloud 9 Rain Dots on
rain drops. The Inspiration photo and prize for the month are pictured below. Thanks so much for stopping by an I hope you get a chance to play along with the challenge this month!
