Narcissus Thanks

 Well I'm really cutting it close to getting a blog post in today! And blogger is really giving me fits so not sure that it will even happen/post? Had a great day shopping with my Sister-in-Law and found lots more crafty goodies. Tuesday Morning got me in BIG trouble and than Hobby Lobby has started their semi annual clearance sales and I was SUPER bad and went to TWO different stores!! I think I may need a 12 Step program for Craft Ahcoholics!! Supposed to be rainy and ugly here tomorrow so hoping to have a play in the craft room kinda day?

Today's card uses the BEAUTIFUL digi stamp set called Narcissus from Beccy's Place! I fussy cut it out and mounted it with foam tape to give it some dimension. I lightly colored the flower centers and stems with my Copic markers. Wrapped it with some jute twine and added a bow. Tucked in a little tag with my sentiment. I used my all time favorite doily lace border punch. I distressed the edges with some Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress ink. Finished it off with some rustic like bling. Love the vintage feel that this card has. That's it for today now to see if  blogger will let me post? Could just be my laptop acting up too I guess?! Thanks for stopping by!

Cupcake Bear

Hello!! Well I DID It!! One full week of blog posts?! I even have one partially ready for tomorrow. I've been on a roll with card making the past 2 weeks. The challenges have really helped inspire me. I make a lot more cards than I post but thanks to challenges it really pushes me to keep at it.

I just had to make another card with this Birthday paper while I had it out on my table. I found this adorable teddy bear in my bin of already colored images that matched it perfectly! It's a digital freebie from over at Beccy's Place. It's colored with Prisma color pencils. I added Stickles to the icing and Glossy Accent to the nose and paw pads. The image is fussy cut out and mounted onto a embossed circle. Finished it off with another paper bow (really going to miss this borrowed punch when I have to return it!) and some enamel dots. Isn't it cute?!! Love how it turned out!!

Birthday Daisies

Hello, I'm back!! 3rd day in a row? It's been awhile since that's happened! And it would appear I'm on a roll with the color yellow also?? Maybe I'm just trying to brighten up the dreary days of winter?? Although we have been have a pretty mild Winter here so far? Now that I say that.....look out!!

My card today uses a Bugaboo digi. Isn't this little guy just the cutest??! It's colored with Copics and cut out with a Paper Smooches tag die. Topped it off with a paper gingham bow that I made with a SU punch that I borrowed from a friend. Man I should have bought that one! That's it for today maybe I'll be back again tomorrow?! Hello! My card uses the Quilted Deer digi, it's a freebie from Beccy's Place. I used the pre-colored version today. I paired it with another one of my "scraps" trees. I embossed and embellished it with some little gold nailheads. I thought this would make a nice baby's 1st Christmas card?! Didn't have any stamps that say that so just went with December 25. Season's Tweetings

Greetings from chilly Pennsylvania! Wind chills have us in the teens this evening. Winter is just around the corner so we better get used to it I guess? Sure do miss the long daylight hours specially when it comes to trying to get decent photos. Was cutting it close today so sorry if my photo is a bit off. Anyway onto my card! I've used a digi stamp that I believe was a freebie from High Hopes? I colored it with my Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol.  I sponged some distress ink around the edge of my image and than added stickles on top. I placed it on a Lacey circle die cut and wove ribbon in thru the holes and added a double bow. For the finishing touch I put a blinged up snowflake in the corner. I wanted to add the sentiment "Season's Tweetings" and thought I had a stamp set with that saying but if I do it must be hiding?! Or maybe I just dreamed it? It's now on my wish list to buy and add later. Ok that's all for now. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Halloween Kitty

Hello! Today I have a Halloween card to share with you. It uses a digital stamp from Bugaboo called Halloween Kitty. I colored it with my Copic markers. I never bought the drippy goo border punch years ago so i used my icicle punch and tried to round some of the points a bit with my scissors. It sorta gave me the look i was going for?!! Hello! I'm back for a 2nd day in a row?!! Today I have a Breast Cancer card for you using a pre colored free digi stamp from Beccy's Place. It's called Floral Bra and is available in both colored and uncolored form. I've been a bit to intimidated to try coloring this one on my own yet! The sentiment and ribbon are from a free set that Amuse put out a few years ago. My "Lace" was to use my MS Doily Lace border punch and then I added a few pearls on top to finish it off. Summertime Blues

Hello! We are to be getting some warm weather the next few days and boy am I ready for it! Maybe not quite beach temps yet but getting close. I've had this Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps image colored for ages and waiting to be used. I added some glossy accents to his nose, stickles to the drink in his hand and the waves around him. One in a Melon

Hello and Happy Spring?!!? Right? Even though it feels more like winter lately and they say we have more snow on the way on Saturday with as much as 6inches possible in places?! Anyway I'm in the mood for WARM weather and so I went for a summer card today! And nothing screams summer like a cold slice of watermelon!! I have had this adorable Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps digi printed out for ages....ok years actually and finally got around to coloring him with my Copic markers. Sweet Carrot

Hello! It's new sketch time at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I used an adorable Sami Stamps digital image called Sweet Carrot Bunny for my card today. The hardest part of this card for me was finding coordinating scraps of DP to use! I have to say I love how this card turned out and it's flat and easy for mailing which is VERY unusual for me! Woodland Creatures

Hello! Today I have a masculine card to share with you, using a digi stamp that I bought from Graphique off Etsy years ago. I usually just use this as a B&W but did give it a bit of color this time round. I love the realistic look of the image. The papers are from a new "masculine" Paper Studio pad I picked up on one of my many trips to Hobby Lobby recently. That darn HUGE 75% off clearance they did in stages in the paper craft section got me. It's kinda sad though as now the stamp section is going to be so small. :-(  But at least there was new paper pads I guess??! I shiny metallic paper came from the stamp show that comes to the area annually. I finished it off with some Jute ribbon and twine. Love how this one turned out. Hello! Today's card uses the Cardinal and Holly freebie from Beccy's Place. It makes such pretty Christmas cards. It was colored with Copic markers and I added some Glossy Accents to the berries. The outer white "lacey" oval is from MFT. I gently folded in all the edges to frame the image, not that it will stay that way when mailed I guess but I liked the look it gave anyway. Christmas Lamp

Hello! I've been MIA for a few weeks except for my prescheduled TMS DT posts. I had some major surgery on the 1st and it's been very slow going. I felt good enough for small amounts of time at the craft table this past week. Won't tell you how long it took to make this card! Considering the fact I had already colored the image and picked out the pretty paper previously. It's been killing me not to be able to participate in the month long Holiday card challenge over at Beccy's Place. Now I have made at least 1 for it! Excuse the poor photo I can't move very well yet and guess I was to far away and the picture is a bit blurry. Anyway I'm happy with how this one turned out, looks really nice in real life! Cats, Cats and more Cats!

Hello! I had to have another go at the Cat's Lovers Hop. :-)  This time round I'm using a Bugaboo digi stamp called Cute Kitty. I paired it with the current Stella's Says Sketch although I did make mine A2 in size instead of square. The photo below is of just one of my fur babies! That is Sweet Pea aka Sweets. She likes to come in and rub around my legs/feet. I much prefer when she perches up on one of my paper storage boxes. My chair has wheels I'm always afraid I'll catch her legs or tail.
