Thank you Thank you
Hello! Just had to have another go at this sketch. Think it'll be a go to for when I'm in need of a quick card? Specially for one's show casing sentiments I think? I used another piece of 6 x 6 paper from the same Recollections pad as yesterdays card. Added some "punch" art and bling to finish it off. Think this one is so pretty and makes me think Spring/Summer. Okay that's it for now hope you have a great week and hopefully I'll be back with more cards this week.

Kindness
Hello! Today I have some news to share with you before I get into this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch/Challenge. This will be my last post as Design Team member. I have decided after 18th months it's time to step down from the Tuesday Morning Sketches . I've had a great time and want to thank Melissa and all the girls for having me it was blast! I'll still be around playing in some challenges here and there I'm sure.
Ok onto the challenge. This week we are changing things up! Instead of a sketch we are having a Blank Canvas Challenge. I have posted a picture of the challenge below. You can find out all the little details over on the Tuesday Morning Sketches page.
To create my background.....I used 3 different TH Distress inks, an acrylic stamping block, water misting bottle on watercolor paper. Than I stamped my Inkadinkado boat image and embossed it in white. Love how the white spots (around my sentiment) on my water coloring background kinda look like clouds. Added a gold base under my watercolor panel and some gold metal accents to finish it off. Really pleased with the end result! Thanks so much for stopping by and hope to see all again soon. Be sure to check out the rest od the teams creations.

Snow Friends

Hello! This is the card that I made for the Repeat Impressions sketch challenge! This was a fun sketch and I think I'll be using it again! I Love snowman and this is one of my favorite snowman stamps! It's by Inkadinkado. I used my new snowflake embossing folder from Crafts-Too that I got at a stamp show last weekend. I highlighted the snowman and snowflakes with my Sakura clear glitter pen, it's sparkly but hard to get it to show in the photo. I think I might have to make another in non Christmas colors for a Winter card! Thanks for stopping by!

Butterfly Wishes

Hello! I decided to have another go at Nina's challenge. We were to use her card for inspiration, you can find more info on her blog Crafting in Croatia. This time I stuck more with her layout and color combo. These ribbon roses are so fun to make. You can find the tutorial here. I decided to use one of my crocheted butterflies instead of a punch or stamp. I love the soft and feminine feel of this card, I think I might have a hard time parting with this card! Does anyone else ever have that problem? I know it's really silly cause I can always make another one just like it but... anyway hope you like it. List of other challenges and supplies used is below. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Baby Boy Blue

Hello!! I noticed this week there are alot of challenges involving the word "New" for the New Year I guess, so I thought it would be fun to see how many I could do on this card! I used a new stamp that I've had for awhile and never used. It's by Inkadinkado. I cut out my image with the Label 4 nesties. I love the Label nesties but the sizes are so far apart for layering so for my brown layer I traced the die and cut it out by hand so that it would be a closer fit. To help hide my hand cutting I used my distressing tool on it and several of the other layers as well, to give it that worn look. I also sponged/distressed some brown ink on my DP layer as well. I wrapped some twine around it an added a button tied with some gingham ribbon. I added some pearls in the one corner to finish it off. I used a Quickutz folder on the bottom blue panel. I wish I had some of this same DP in Pink and Brown to make a little girl card but the pink version uses black instead and I'm not sure about a Pink & Black baby card??!! I'll add a link list to all the challenges. Thanks for stopping by and let me know what you think, I Love reading your comments!
