Hello! Hope you are keeping warm today, it sure is COLD here in south central PA! Today i have a card for you that i made using the Justrite Friday Challenge sketch. I really think i need to invest in a set of banner dies because cutting them by hand is almost impossible to get them even. I am happy with how my card turned out though. I think this has become a new favorite color combo. With these MME papers it has a nice vintage/shabby chic kind of feel to it. I should have added some lace with the ribbon maybe?? My picture really doesn't do it justice, winter and lack of good light make for poor photos. :0(  Anyway thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Poppy Poem

Hello! Thought i'd share a card with you that i made for one of the HYCCT challenges over on SCS. We were to use text. I stamped on some DP and colored with my prisma color pencils. Added a little cheesecloth behind my image. One of my SSS DT members does this alot and i really like the look and had to give it a try! I'm really loving how this one turned out. Thats it for now may be back later today to share another while i have power. If Stacy does what they say she will chances are we will be losing power. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hello! It's the second tuesday of the month and time for another fun challenge at Paper and Such! This time round the theme is stamping on DP! Instead of coloring the birds i decided to try something new/different and turned it into a silhouette type image. This was easy and alot of fun to do! I'll be doing it again soon! Vintage Birthday

Hello! It's the second Tuesday of the month so that means it's time for another fun challenge from Paper and Such! This time round we have and inspiration photo challenge. I used the just released Wild Rose set on my card today. I stamped it on a page from a very old dictionary that my Aunt found for me. I lightly colored with my prisma color pencils. Shabby Chic Birthday

Hello! Today I have another Shabby Chic kind of card to share with you! I also did my take on a new to me technique called Embedded Embossing. Will be trying this again sometime soon and will go with smaller pieces/shapes next time. I added one of these cool leaf pins that I found the other week when and friend and I went shopping.
