XOXO

Hello!! Today I have another Valentine card to share with you! This one I'll be giving to my hubby! This Penny Black kitty reminds me of our 2 newest babies. I colored the image with my Copic markers, fussy cut it and popped it up. I used a mixture of die cut and stamped hearts to make/build my collage. Added a banner sentiment and some rhinestones to finish it off. You'll be seeing more of this kitty/image as I used it for all my other Valentine's this year too! LOVE Penny Black!! I added a picture of my sleeping angels but don't let that fool you they aren't always this quiet/calm!  That's it for now thanks for stopping by and have a great day! List of challenges is listed below.

Birthday Corgi

Hello! Finally made some time to get back in the craft room! Been a little busy lately with my new fur babies!! We got 2 new kittens the day before Thanksgiving. Meet Butterball and Buttercup! I forgot how much fun kittens are, been like 11 years since we had babies in the house. I've been soaking up all the kitten snuggles I can get. I'm posting some of the pictures from when they were about 2 months or so old. Will post more recent ones soon. They are growing so fast! Aren't they adorable??!

Okay now to the real reason your here, my card! I borrowed this adorable Corgi set from a friend. It's from the Stamps of Life. It has the cutest sentiments to go along with it. I didn't use one of them on this card but you will see them in the future! I borrowed this set because I have a niece who LOVES Corgi's and I want to make her some special cards. She'll be 18 soon and she graduates this year too. I heat embossed my image and than colored it with my Copic markers. It's been ages since i colored with them. I'm going to have to get my refills out as some of my markers are getting a little dry. Seems I have been on a mainly die cut only card making mode lately? Felt good to color again although I felt a bit rusty! I fussy cut the image and added a few punched balloons with some pretty bakers twine to match. I think it turned out cute?  Always good to add some "boy" cards to the stash. That's it for now, thanks so much for stopping by! Hopefully I'll stay in the grove and keep making and posting cards! List of challenges is listed below.

Cats, Cats and more Cats!

Hello! I had to have another go at the Cat's Lovers Hop. :-)  This time round I'm using a Bugaboo digi stamp called Cute Kitty. I paired it with the current Stella's Says Sketch although I did make mine A2 in size instead of square. The photo below is of just one of my fur babies! That is Sweet Pea aka Sweets. She likes to come in and rub around my legs/feet. I much prefer when she perches up on one of my paper storage boxes. My chair has wheels I'm always afraid I'll catch her legs or tail. Ok that's all for now not sure if I'll be able to squeeze in 1 more cat card tomorrow or not?! Have a great weekend. Challenges are listed below.

Happy Tails

Hello! I seem to be on a masculine card roll here of late??! And I know there is another one for sure this week. I just LOVE this little guy! I wish there was a cat version of this stamp. My cat may or may not have a tie of his own?!?  My husband has this guy very spoiled and this cat will but up with anything if it means he gets treats in the end. He has quite the costume collection. Everyone gets a kick out picking things up for him.  I swear he acts more like a puppy then a cat most days. Anyhow back to my card! It is colored with copic markers and I added some glossy accents to his nose. The paper is from a Bo Bunny 6x6 pad called Happy Tails Collection. List of challenges I'm entering are listed below. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Flowers in Bloom

Hello! One of my SCS buddies (Hi Stacy!) challenged me to do the color challenge for today over on SCS and I couldn't use leaves! The colors were Cherry Cobbler, Calypso Coral, and More Mustard. TUFF!! I had to use some neutrals to help me out! I used the newly released Flowers in Bloom set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, LOVE this set!!  My pic isn't the greatest cause I was losing the sunlight. The sponging and ribbon look soooo mush better in real life. I usually have lots of help when taking my pics thought I'd share a few extra pics from today! Aren't they adorable???!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Lovely Cupcake

Hello! Had a little help taking my pictures today, thought I'd share that photo too! This is one of 4 kittens that we rescued recently along with their momma. All five of them are black! Today I have a Yummy cupcake card to share with you. It's a digi stamp from Heart Song Designs. I colored it with my copics and cut it out and raised it up with foam tape. I thought that this might also have made a nice wedding card?? Maybe use some crocheted lace instead of the twill ribbon?  What do you think? Can't wait to hear your thoughts. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Weekend Sleepover!

Hello! I had 2 of my niece's over for a weekend sleepover and thought I'd share some pictures. They love visiting with all my cats, and Tiger is their favorite. Most of the others have taken to hiding for the weekend though. ;0) We baked cookies to send to their Daddy who is serving in Iraq at the moment and made some cards to go along with them.

I thought the So Sweet Cocoa, and Chef Cocoa digi would go perfectly. They colored 4 images and we've made 2 cards so far. I cut everything out and they assembled them. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Lucky

Today I thought I'd share a photo that I took a couple of weeks ago while trying to photograph some of my cards. This is Lucky he is a spoiled rotten baby and likes to "help" me. It makes picture taking very interesting. I have to make sure there are no paws or a tail in my pictures! I may share more kitty photo's in the future as Lucky is one of many! They seem to have a way of finding me. Happy Thanksgiving!!
