Think Spring

Hello! Spring keeps trying to arrive early here in PA(although not this weekend!!) so I thought I'd make a daffodil card since mine started blooming last week! I posted a picture below. The Freshly made sketch this week was perfect for larger images. I had this Daffodil image (from the former Paper and Such company) in my already colored pile so I decided to fussy cut it out and place it on some DP. I tend to avoid chevron patterns but thought it looked really good paired with the daffodils??! I added a sentiment from PTI an randomly placed some rhinestones to finish it off. I'm happy with how it all turned out! What do you think?? Well off to try an make another card yet today can't believe the weekend is almost over! Challenges are listed below.

Awww, the joy of spring flowers. Mine have not bloomed yet so I hope I am safe. The folks who had them open are cutting them for a fast indoor display, since these mornings in the teens and low 20's are making short work of them.

As for your card, how striking! Those Daffy's look amazing against the chevron background. Good thinking, and I love the little gems you added for sparkle!

So very pretty and the chevron is a perfect background! Our daffodils are just popping up, pour things, hope they don't freeze! Thank you for joining our challenge at Double D!

Such a pretty spring card, Janice! Love the daffodil's against the chevron patterned paper and the design of your card! My daffodil's are up but none have opened yet...maybe this week IF we get some warmer temps! TFS and have a great day! :)

Oh Janice this is SO pretty! Love everything about it! Yes here in Ohio the weather has been similar (crazy!!!) and my poor daffodils JUST started to bloom when we got this cold snap ... now they are all laying on the ground ... sad!
Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘Think Spring’ challenge! We hope you’ll come back often.

You must live in a warm pocket since your daffodils bloomed already! Mine are showing green stems about 5" up from the ground, but no buds and definitely not any flowers yet! LOL This card is SO pretty with those gorgeous flowers and that wonderful chevron background! I love how it's offset to one corner and side too - great design!

One of the first signs of spring, daffodils in the garden and on designer's cards. Thanks for the breath of spring and for joining us at Double D challenge Blog.
