April Showers.....

.....bring May flowers. Hello!! I have some very happy news to share today!  Back in February I won the Great Impressions monthly challenge and part of that win is getting to be a guest designer for a month. Thanks so much for the wonderful opportunity! Can't wait to share my creations with everyone.

My first card for Great Impressions is for their April Challenge. The theme is "April showers bring May flowers." My card uses the very ADORABLE Duck with Umbrella along with the April Showers sentiment. I paper pieced the boots and umbrella plus I added some glittery glue to the water puddle. My papers and cloud die cuts are from PTI. I also added some Cloud 9 Rain Dots on
rain drops. The Inspiration photo and prize for the month are pictured below. Thanks so much for stopping by an I hope you get a chance to play along with the challenge this month!

Love your card, Janice. Great layers contrasting the yellow and purple. I want to jump in that puddle of glitter. And I like the single button. Great job. Hugs, Debi

What a sweet card, Janice! Love the duck image as it is perfect for this time of year! Seems like we've been getting hit with rain like every other day lately! Love the clouds and the mix of papers on this but what I love the most is the tilted panels! Congrats on your DT spot! I love GI stamps and have a few in my stash....definitely have to check this challenge out! TFS and happy Monday!!!! :)
